Hello Cavalry Community,

I am happy to announce another edition of the 2v2 Cavalry Groupfight EU Tournament!
After several years here it is back. The date is coordinated with the host of the Cavalry Nations Cup Erik.
Use the tournament to train and show your teamplay with your personal assigned buddy for the CNC.
The Tournament will be a short and hard K.O.Tournament. Every match will be played on the Cavalry_Groupfight_EU Server on a special map!
We aim for the normal Groupfight-Atmosphere. So be aware of mixed and changing teams (regarding the classes).
So get ready and show us your skills.

Note: As we have 3 arenas at the same time, we will use as nations: Austria and Russia (both have heavies with armor, lancers, hussars with same stats).
Which nation you will be, will be random assigned (in the brackets first named team plays in the match austria, the other russia)

You wake up, take a coffee, start your pc and attend.
The last time we used the same time and it worked well. In the evening people want to go out, so it should be fine. Surely not for everyone unfortunatly, but a date suiting for everyone probably doesnt exist.

I'm not sure I will find the time to attend this but if I do, I'd be glad giving you a hand as referee, given you still need some. Just a clarification, can referee play aswell or are they forced to stick to that role only?

Referees can still play. When they play, there will just be one arena empty, as another referee will take over such matches.
Funfact: Last time my other two referees won the tournament together.

Another 16 slots were added

As we are already full after the first day of sign up, another 16 slots are opened. If we cant fill them, we will have everyone playing anyway, random chosen teams will then just come into play in the second round.

One name was unfortunatly too long for challonge to accept it, so I had to cut it.

I will try to add as most people as possible tonight, and probably remind them tomorrow, but no guarantees.
Make sure to join the server in time, we have 32 teams, so we will be very busy, we cant wait for everyone to be remembered and to start their game.
We have 3 arenas at the same time, and we will go through the brackets from the top to the bottom each round, so you can predict on your own, when you will have to play yourself. Keep in mind, that any trolling and interrupting the tournament will lead to a permanent ban on the server.
Password will be given out tomorrow.

Keep in mind that you will have to use your names you signed up with (you can set a tag in the beginning of your name how you wish, just in the end there has to be your name you signed up with)

You can join any time now, we will start in time, so make sure you are already on the server, when we start.

Also feel free to add it to your favorites and keep it there, as this server will stay

Tournament is over!

Thanks to everyone attending this tournament. After this long time hosting such a tournament was a bit messy for me. But we got 32 teams to sign up, and the tournament ran very well. Thanks at this point to the two Referees Erik and Tardet, for supporting the Event with 3 super busy hours. Tardet also recorded a few games and will upload them soon.
That one poor little guy joining and fluting around, we decided to give you no perma ban :)
Also we did not encounter any trolls through the whole event, that is awesome!
