Dear community,

After the success of our first 8eCC hosted event, we have decided to offer you a new evening of equestrian fun. In order to make it less repetitive, the new event will now be hosted every two fridays, starting on the 27th of November.

Only cavalry will be allowed. In order to make it fair and more interesting all type of cavalry will be welcome, however with some rules: Only 2 regiment of dragoons (with guns) and 2 regiment of lancers per side. Other specific rules can be found below.

We hope this event will be entertaining as much as challenging for any cavalry regiment. Contact me on steam or post on this topic for further information.

The event will take place every two Fridays at 7.00pm (London Time (http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/europe/uk/time/)). Server information will be handed every week on steam to the regiment leaders, for practical reasons it is required that you keep us informed in case your regiment's leadership is to be reshaped.
Balance and factions will be sorted out just before the event, we'll try to match your preferences as much as we can.

Global Rules :

Global chat restricted to officers as much as possible. Don't spam the chat. Any request must be asked by officers only.
Please wear your regiment tags, otherwise you'll probably be kicked.
If you won't come for any reason please inform any admin via steam or teamspeak before the event.
No pistols can be fired (be it on foot or on horseback).
No insults.
No trolling.
No ramboing.
No hodoring.

Unit Rules :


1. Hussars

Spoiler

Between 8 - 25+ players per regiment
They must stay in formation before the charge.
They can have up to four officers, two musicians and two colours at most per regiment.

Only 2 regiment per side maximum.
They must stay in formation before the charge.
They can have up to four officers, two musicians and two colours at most per regiment.
Couching the lance is allowed.

They must stay in formation before the charge.

They have to form a line in order to shoot. No fire in charge at all.
They can't fire if they are dismounted.

Unfortunately, the Ve is already hosting an event on saturday. We'll see if we can get enough people on thursday, if not we will probably also host it on friday later.

The K-KA would gladly sign up for this event. However, we currently can only play next week Thursday (11/06) So if there are enough regiments that sign up for this week, we'd like to simply reserve a slot for next week, but not partake in it this week (4/06).

	So as I said, the event won't be hosted until late August. The main reason is that I will be away for most of the summer but also that most of the players won't be active during the summer break anyway. It was a pleasure to host and play this event. I hope everyone enjoyed it aswell, I'll take every feedback or criticism. It was the second time I hosted an event of that kind but I still learn event after event and I'm eager to know what you thought of it. It will be back in late August/September if the regiments are still interested to attend the event. If that's the case, I will have by then custom maps, both reasonably big and efficient to break with the "ramdom desert routine" and guarantee an event without lags. Special thanks to the regular regiments who enabled the event to live on for so long. See you in September for a new season!

Really sorry, I'll have to cancel tonight's event.

Edit: So to give a bit more info, my friends threw me a surprise birthday dinner/party so I wasn't able to host the event. As christmas and new year's eve are not so far now, I will have to postpone the event until the 6 January. I wish you all the best for the holiday season and I hope to you all again in January :)

Cheers folk,

I have some sad news: I've decided to stop hosting the event. As you may know, I stopped playing NW a while ago and the only time I launched the game was to host the event. It was fine until know as I had nothing to do on Friday's night and I didn't bother giving an hour of my time. But now, I'm not always free on Friday's. And to be honest I've grown a bit tired of hosting it.

I hope to see you all on Bannerlord :)

EDIT: The Nr6 will take over and host the event from now on. Their topic will be up shortly.
