 | The 53rd are a British Line Infantry Regiment, which aims to bring a great gaming experience for all of our members. Our immediate goal is to provide a fun, mature gaming environment for all our members, closely followed up by defeating our enemies with a mixture of skill, determination and discipline. Discipline is a particularly important aspect of the regiment, as increased discipline leads to a more fun, stable environment which our members can enjoy without worrying about trolls interrupting their gaming experience. Needless to say, trolling is therefore not tolerated under any circumstances.Racism is also completely banned, and failure to comply will lead to a swift eviction from the regiment.
We are an EU based regiment that accepts a large variety of different cultures into our ranks. Our only requirements are that you have a good grasp of English, as this is the universally spoken language within the regiment, and you can turn up to our events on a regular basis and act maturely during events. Promotions and demotions will occur on a regular basis, where members who have proven themselves to be dedicated may get promoted if deemed worthy enough, and on the flip side, members who fail to abide by our values, whether it be by trolling, causing arguments or any other such activities, can expect to be demoted.
However, do not fear that poor melee or shooting skills will hinder access to our regiment. We are always looking for dedicated players who are willing to improve on their skills, regardless of their current level. By proving to be an active, dedicated member of the regiment who is always looking to improve their skills you will also become a real asset to the regiment, and may recieve a NCO rank, whereby you will recieve more responsibilites within the regiment, but also our trust that you will be able to handle these responsibilites with skill and flair.
Within the regiment, we have many members of all skill sets. For those who are less confident with the game, our more veteran players will always be willing to help those who ask for it, so that even our newest member can swiftly become experienced at the game. We keep careful track of our members, from details such as melee skill to attendance, in order to ensure that we know exactly what our members, and us a regiment, are capable of. We understand that you will not always be able to attend all events, and real life comes first. However, we do expect that all members who are aware that they will be unable to attend events contact a senior member of the regiment, just so we can keep track of everyone. |
