Okay, this whole situation is my fault completely. I told the refs of a new directive but I did not put the rule into place. Unfortunately, I went to bed early last night and missed this whole affair so for that I apologize. I am asking that the match between the 32e and Sil be replayed without the rules which I have added for this final week.
I told the refs and Nappy that we were to beginning to enforce a minimum of 10. Throughout the league, there have not been many times where this has been enforced if any. As a result I just haven't really thought about it. The minimum is there so a regiment cannot just bring their x<10 players while the other is forced to match them.
Another rule that I am creating is so regiments cannot drop players during the middle of the event so the other regiment has to drop some of theirs. I know of one instance of this already and I think most agree that it's pretty scummy.
These rules are going into effect for the last week of play. These do not effect any of the matches for previous weeks.
1. A regiment has to field a minimum of 10 men. If a regiment cannot then they are allowed to continue but the opposing regiment is allowed to field 11 men. (Ex. If a re has 8 people then the opposing regiment can field 11)
2. A regiment cannot willingly drop members of their regiment to force the opposing regiment to drop their members. (ex. A regiment has 20 people. They drop 5 to force the opposing regiment to drop 5.)
