Regiments (Game Clans) / 8th Virginia Volunteer Regiment [Est. 2015]

I started this regiment with 3 other officers on February 16, 2015. We attended events actively in the North and South community for 4 years reaching upwards of 50 attendance during events. Our steam group still has over 380 members. I would like to reserve the name once more and declare my regiment's player base's interest in partaking in events within this game. I will make this post fancy with more recruiting information in the near future.

Events / The Dixieland Army {British and Continental Armies} Wednesday NA Event

This event will be held at 8:00 pm EST EVERY Wednesday on the Dixieland Server on the Whigs and Tories Mod. Regiments may sign up for this event in the Dixieland Army TeamSpeak (217.79.181.97:9995) up at the Top in the "Event Signup NA" channel. Signups start at roughly 7:30 pm before every event, and it will be first-come-first-serve signup system. We run on a 200 slot server.

NOTICE: Regiments must have at LEAST 3 people to signup!!!!

The rules go as follows:

Line Infantry:
Lines must form double ranks when above 8 RANKERS. If the line’s numbers fall below 8 people they may form a single line.
Fire On The Charge is permitted. (FOC).
Max of 2 ensigns per line.
Max of 1 man Spacing at all times.
Max of 1 colonel per line.
Lines MUST have at least 3 people halted in a formation to reload. If a line’s numbers fall below 3 people, those last people must find another regiment and join their line.

Light Infantry:
No more than 3 man spacing.
Max 1 Native Guides.
Regiments MAY crouch when in formation and/or firing.
Max 1 colonel.
Fire On The Charge is permitted. (FOC)

Calvary:
Max of 15 Cavalry men on the field per team.
Delaying as cavalry will result in slays.
Max of 1 colonel.
Firing On The Charge as cavalry will not be tolerated.
Firing on Horseback (FOH) is allowed only when stationary.
When dismounted, the cavalry regiment must act as line infantry.

Artillery:
All artillerymen MUST stay with their artillery.
Regiments may have only 1 Colonel per cannon.

General Rules:
NO Officer aiming.
NO Ramboing.*** This means reloading/fighting the enemy either alone or with less than 3 guys!
NO Trolling. (I.E. Chat spam, hate messages, teamkilling, etc.)
NO Sappers.
NO Skirmishing. (I.E. Running from conflict/Delaying the game.)
NO Mel Gibson Units.***Exceptions may occur.
