The DDOSing continues. Our teamspeak is down but it seems groopfootin is still working?

It was working when I got on but it was super laggy on the server side and was basically unplayable.

I believe NFO doesn't support mount and blade as a game. You could rent a VPS though for pretty cheap and get better performance and free ddos protection.

You would have to rent a VDS from them. It allows you to control the server through Remote Desktop so it makes it very easy. And you could run your teamspeak on with it.

Also what does everyone think of allowing swords?

I personally would love that. I enjoy sword fighting. But others may think of it as an imbalance.

I don't see pistols being a problem. Not anymore of a problem than people shooting muskets.

Also, you should be able to set number of Captains per unit. So you could set it to 2 and there would be a max of 6 or 8 captains for most factions. or you could set it to 1 for less.


As a side note, maybe look into NFO hosting for a server. I had a ddos attack happen and they took care of it immediately. It may be more than what you pay for now though. And I'm not sure if it's the type of server you're looking for. But I have a 200 man event hosted on my server twice a week with no problems.

Admin experience?: I have been an admin on NA_PW and United_PW. I am a veteran admin of the NA Hardcore Linebattle hosted by JD (formerly by 5arge.) I run a server which I host a TDM on sometimes. And other games.

Why would you be a good admin?: I have the experience and the dedication of being an admin and dealing with tough situations. While I am strict on rules, I'm not too harsh or unreasonable. My friends and community members do not receive special treatment. A rule-breaker is a rule-breaker and they shall be treated as such.

About yourself: I live in PA as a college student. I've played MM before NW and immediately switched over when the game came out. I've been in the 13te since the beginning and have helped keep the regiment alive for 2 1/2 years now. I currently lead the 13te as their Hauptmann. I enjoy being an admin and helping players have an enjoyable time.

Hello Everybody!  We currently host a Team DeathMatch server with 200 slots.

With our new server, we will no longer interrupt the gameplay of the people on our public server. Enjoy!

Here are the rules to abide by:
1.) No team killing, as this is a pointless, and trolly thing to do, and will not be tolerated on our server.
2.) No exploits, as we like to actually play the game, and your glitches/exploits screw that up for everybody who likes to play.  This also will not be tolerated.
3.) Recruiting is not allowed. (Except for 13te, of course) If you want to recruit, get your own server.
4.) No training on our public server, ever. If you are in dire need of a server. (Like your own server is down or you don't have access to it) Contact me and I may set something up for you.
5.) No blocking doorways. I know you can reverse this now, but I still consider it trolling.
6.) No using offensive names or language.
7.) Be respectful to all players and admins.

   If you do happen to break these rules, an admin will usually give one or two warning slay(s), If you proceed to break the rules, you will be kicked, even more rule breaking will result in a temp/perm ban (depending how much you've pissed the admin(s) off).

 These are not set rules for admins. This is not an official server, so we do as we please. We are generally kind people,  but if you personally piss us off we'll ban you without regret and without appeal.

Also, we are actively trying to recruit more men for the regiment, so expect recruiting messages through out you playing time.

If you need somebody dealt with, post below with the name of the player, reason for ban, and your in game name.  We hold the final say in the ban, so if a player doesn't get banned, DO NOT COMPLAIN. Thanks.
