Well post your opinion below I am referring to Napoleonic wars current and past melee. Before they nerfed the up attack and took away the double x and such

Definitely preferred it before the upstab nerf. Made combat a bit more diverse, IMO.

I personally liked it when the up-stab was da best, when the game was 1st released.

I prefer the original NW melee, I think it took more skill.

I prefer the Call of Duty 3 melee. The awkwardly animated rifle-butt-elbow-smash took more skill than any version of NW.

At this point I dont even care. Its far too late for any change to be made. I am already used to the new way of things, and if it goes back, itll just be a long journey all over again.

Apoc I feel ya, i just feel as if Vincenzo has never truly seen the amount of people who disagree with his choices. I think its more for like look at this as proof and all that:P

Things won't change anyway.

I do have to agree that MM melee was much better than the current melee, but the old NW melee is my favorite, when winning duels was a matter of careful blocking and strategy, and chambers actually took skill to pull off.
Melee still is fun, but I just don't get the same thrill and excitement I did back in the good 'ole days.
