The 3te Garde
What's the goal here?
The 3te Garde is formed up of a small core of veterans looking to take on new members to grow our regiment, aiming to hold at around 20-30 active men, operating as a line infantry regiment. The unit shall be trained to a high standard that every member should aim to work towards, in the hope of earning glory on the field of battle. Overall the main ethos of the regiment is to increase the number of well trained regiments in the community as a whole.
Commanding Officers
Colonel Kammin Colonel Kammin has been a commissioned officer in 4 regiments, leading them from success to success. Starting as a Leutnant in the 5th Battallion Lutzows Friekorps, under Oberst Johan (The Magnificent,) Kammin proved his worth as a cavalry officer, to the extent his men demanded he formed his own regiment. Forming the 22nd Scots Greys, his abillity to lead a regiment became apparant, survivng several attepts to usurp leadership. Dwindling interest in cavalry lead to the formation of the 6th 'Holyrood' Guard, a line infantry regiment. the 6th Guard's successes attracted the attention of North and South's infamouse Sarge, who brieflly formed an artillery detachment, before being removed for his distastefully obvious lack of compitency. Accepting an invitation, the 6th Guard joined the British Army, then under Sharpe, where kammin quickly became a brigadier general, before taking control in Sharpe's eventual absence.Taking an active role for several months at leading the army of over one-hundred members, most notably facing off against the 77y in a two month campaign. Due to several disagreements between generals within the BA, the Second Brigade of the army formed into the Brunswick Korps. Loosing interest in the game, the second in command of the Korps floundered with the responsibillity, before blaming the other officers for his failing, then splitting the Korps appart. Returning interest to the game, Kammin formed the South Essex (Prince of Wales own), with the intention of restoring the number of skilled regiments in the lately dwindling line battles.
Lieutenant Colonel MorrisMorris is renowned for his ability to swiftly take command of a group of untrained and unmotivated men and turn them into a lethal killing force within seconds, maintaining morale and discipline. His men regard him as a intelligent leader however he is known for his short fuse, having dispatched many a coward in his time. Morris first earned his rank when the 'Scots Greys' was formed up by Kammin, Morris swiftly stood into place as second in command of the regiment, assisting with training and discipline mostly. However it was in the 6th Holyrood Guard that Morris truly showed his potential as a fearless infantry officer, leading from the front and becoming a key force in structured battles with the British Army, going beyond what was required of his rank and leading the second Brigade in the stead of a fair less competent officer.
Recruitment
For those interested in joining the 3te Garde feel free to contact either myself or Lieutenant Colonel Morris, however first here's a few things you should think about. First of all, only apply if you're truly interested in taking part actively in the regiment we're looking to grow rapidly once more so promotion will be likely for those of skill in both arms and leadership.
Secondly we're all here to have fun, the regiment is not only based around mount and blade and does actively play numerous other games for example Arma, some of our members having played together for over three years leading to an almost constant presence on our teamspeak and a great core to the community.
Most importantly when it comes to glorious battle I require- No I demand! That everyone fights to the best of their ability we're here to have fun and the best way to do that is to give our best at all times, nothing is more amazing then watching a regiment fighting and working as a perfect team on the field of battle.
Regimental Rules
This bits rather simple to be honest! Just don't be an arsehole really, meaning that I expect every single man under my command to have fun but to know when you've gone to far. Racism is frowned upon within the 3te Garde it's just crude and we're much more inventive then insulting the colour of someone's skin.
Regimentally it's expected that you show up to at least one line battle a week, otherwise you will simply fall behind on any training that was conducted that week. Furthermore I wont accept members being in more then one regiment, it just makes things untidy (You could just be smart and not tell me.)
