How to downgrade :

Download This :

Instructions :

1) Delete your old North and South folder

2) Download and install North & South 0.4

3) Download the patch file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gtnvjd8u2k0exk6/Update.zip?m

4) Open the zip file and drag and drop the files included in your North and South folder.  If it asks you to Merge anything or move and replace, Do so.

5) Play the game (its the current 0.401 version)


             BAM your all done.

This is the best solution, to get your NaS working again, for those who patched to 0.402!

I don't understand... We delete our N&S folder, download the Drop Box file, and run the installer? There's no installer now, since I deleted the NaS folder...

W/e, I'll just wait until the patch to fix the mod.

So you have to install our 0.4 basic version and then download the manual patch file (of the old 0.401 patch), you ever wanted to have!

THIS IS NOT THE NEW PATCH! ITS JUST THE OLD 0.401 TO PLAY IT WITHOUT BUGS!

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time understanding this. Delete the N&S folder contents, but keep the updater? Update the game, then put the files into the N&S folder from the manual install?

What steps do they use?  Will the updater update their N&S to 4.1 or 4.2 ?

I is confused.


Also, can you make a straight up "This is for new guys" thread with all the links?  Buncha stickies up everywhere, its confusing.

4) Open the zip file and drag and drop the files included in your North and South folder

5) Play the game

6) Don't touch the updater yet. If you do so, you update directly again to the buggy 0.402 version and everything you did to downgrade is wasted time!
