Artillery is only accurate in NW because people frontal charge artillery batteries 95 percent of the time. Which our arty detachment thanks you for.
so the arty is going to be less accurate in iron europe ?

I am not sure you will be able to have a clear view of the  battlefield at the back of the trenches, but I don't know.

It's in use for Napoleonic Wars not Iron Europe, thus I can use it. Besides, I can make the tags something along the lines of 84eIdR_[Rank]_[Name]. Not too difficult.

We're a WWI Clan, for WWI things. Verdun Online, Iron Europe, etc... (Hopefully THE TRENCH:1916 as well, if they decide to implement some sort of multiplayer function).

Rigadoon, would you mind taking the De Ligne off of our name?

Aldemar clearly intends to use it for his own regiment in Iron Europe and so has the say.

I really don't intend to have this spill over, we had a lovely private chat. But I shall tell you something.

I reserved my 84e on AUGUST 26TH 2012.

I was told TODAY by Aldemar that he discovered Iron Europe TODAY.

Yes and NW regiments have first say on the name of their descendant regiment.

However, they didn't have first say. They were 3-4 months late. It's a first come, first serve system. We wouldn't even have the same tags. 84e Vs. 84eIdR.

You don't get first say if you're late to the party.

Even then, it's a part of the 8th King's Battalion/Regiment of Foot. Yet you don't see us complaining about the similar name that Mc_0wn3d made for Iron Europe?

Either way, at this point in time it is a private matter.

Wow, and here I was, still hoping that there might still be some form of respect in this community. Clearly I was mistaken from the beginning.

One would believe that it'd be common decency (Something this community sorely lacks.) to allow a regiment that has used that name for YEARS within MM/NW to use their name within this mod as well, but apparently not.

This is a private matter, please stop commenting on this.

Aldemar, instead of having the decency to PM me of the matter, MADE IT PUBLIC. So please, this is a PRIVATE MATTER so I ask that you STOP COMMENTING ON IT.

It becomes a public matter the moment it comes to a public forum. Unsurprisingly, saying 'this is a private matter' doesn't really change that. As such, I would advise you both to delete your posts if you wish for it to remain 'private'.

I can USE CAPS WHILE EDITING TOO. Because I'm COOL LIKE THAT.

I would certainly appreciate it if you didn't 'yell' at everyone.

And I can certainly understand the need to bring this to light with the 'public', actually. There's a saying; 'Never give an order that won't be obeyed.' that fits this situation nicely. Basically, don't waste your effort if the person isn't going to listen.

Well the 84e treats this like they created the regiment in the late 1600, but the 84e in this game is an idea which anybody can call upon.    84e     and 84eIDR seems different , stop pissing your pants about it , he has the full right and he also reserved it before the 84e even knew about this mod
