You should change the format to a sort of RWT style if you want to keep it as short as possible with a limited amount of teams

We don't want a regiment to be eliminated from the league after only one match. With the current format, it will only take 5 weeks, it's only 5 1v1 to play..

I dont really understand the need for this tournament with EIC around the corner but GL I guess.

Well, many regiments won't be able to attend the EIC because of the summer break (July and August are difficult months for a lot of regiments) and for those who will be able they can do both (NWIL will be over for the begining of the EIC).
