CTF the game:

CTF the game: Capture the flag is more about team bonding and squad tactics than making lines in a fast pace environment.
Small under manned regiments: Most line battles make you have have a minimum of guys in your unit. CTF is more about squad tactics so if your looking for cleaver ways to help build communication in your regiment this event is for you.
"Why are there no set unit types" In CTF it's not a game of chess. The best explained answer to the CTF game mode is it is more about tactics. If a rifleman has 1 shot and misses he has to wait 15 secs in which time he can be overcome by a melee whore. He would need his squad to provide support to cover him(tactics).
Problems with custom maps: I'd love to make all my trenches like Verdun. However as any map maker or person with a low class computer knows adding too many props lags the server. Which imposes on the overall event and the last thing a fast pace game like CTF needs is melee lag seen in siege or conquest. So I'll updating my maps based on what information and feedback people provided to me. I'm always open to little changes and common sense ideas.
Map problems, ideas, and teams complaints: I will be in my team speak after every event for at least one hour. So if u have a complaint or idea about the event come to my team speak. I know most admins don't have a open mind on their event but I want to give people a outlet to express themselves in a timely matter(until they are straight annoying).

Rules
Since CTF is rare. These rules are in a state of BETA so they are subject to change. Also are more about having fun and haven a good time.
1. Spawn killing or Spawn going into the other team spawning trench and laying waste to newly spawning players will be a temp ban.
2. One Regiment of foot guards will be allowed, extra's will be slayed,
3. Have fun!
4. For now there will be no cav
5. It is not the admins job to tell each team how to play the map or the CTF game
6. Fire on the charge is allowed, Reload on the Charge is allowed
7. Profane or abusive language, taunting, spamming, racial or ethnic slurs in chat will not be tolerated
8. Buffs will be off(lag)
9. If a Regiment LEADER has an issue with something or someone during the Linebattle, please contact one of the Event admins. Do not take unilateral action.
10. No musketoons
11. Try to follow the rules, just make the effort and I will work with u, and try to have fun!

Artillery Rules
1. Artillery may not fire into spawn.
2. Arty should reframe from firing into enemy spawning trenches, Arty should be used to help clear out trenches or other hot spots
