- History/Background (looking for a short 4-5 sentence summary of the history/creation of the event and why it would be worthwhile adding a child-board for this event):
TGL has long been an idea but only now realised, its purpose is to sit as a permanent GF ranking system for NW, specifically 10v10. Instead of having to wait for the next tournament (RFL, NWL, EIC) it lets the community see the current strongest reg, allowing them to challenge each other for position.
TGL differs from standard tournaments; thanks to its ladder format TGL allows less experienced regiments to participate and fight each other at the lower end of the ladder without being knocked out by much stronger regiments, as is the case with most other NW tournaments. Now that it has been running succesfully for over 5 months I hope we have prooven its viability. Having a child board will open up its visability to the community and give us more breathing room for all of the information associated with the ladder, which is already cramming a lot of info into two threads. A great benefit of the ladder is that its more relaxed, regiments dont have to fight every week for 13 weeks straight as with NWL for example, they fight to defend their rank or to challenge regiments above when they see fit.
- Has your event started and completed at least twice? How often are you planning on hosting this event?
The 13 week example above shows that a standard NW tournament has typically run for 3 months, now that TGL has surpassed that hopefully this shows that it is beyond the standard season length, and only looking to continue! As it is continuous it has no end, some months are more active than others for TGL depending on other on-going tournaments, which was always expected.
- What is the average attendance for this event? (You can either give regiment numbers, people in attendance - this can be a round number): 7.2 10v10 matches per month average, you can check out the events match history here (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=37803.msg1644195#msg1644195)
- Are there any criteria(s) for entering in this event? Yes/No; if yes, list them in order for us to verify they are in line with the rules.
1.1 A regiment must be have been going for at least 3 months to join TGL. (Exceptions can be made for old regiments reforming but is at the discretion of the organisers.)
1.2 A player may only play for one regiment on the ladder.
1.3 Changing which regiment you play for is allowed during the transfer window, a request being put forward by the gaining regiment.
1.4 Each regiment must supply a list of user ID's for their members if that regiment is in, or moves into the top 5 leagues.
1.5 Each roster submitted must maintain a minimum of 15 players and never exceed 50* players.
An important note is that we have only actually enforced rule 1.1 once, for Skitty, a reg leader who often disbands his reg within the month of applying for it to join the ladder. (he will have to be in a regiment for 3 months to re-apply), or join another reg as a normal member for example.
We don't currently have any individual player or existing regiments banned from the ladder!

- History/Background: The RGL is one of the biggest and certainly one of the most popular competitve leagues of the european scene. It has been created in 2015 and since then it has only grown in prestige and size. As I plan to create 4 different threads for this years' RGL (much easier to organize an event that way) it would give people a better overview over all of them.
- Has your event started and completed at least twice? How often are you planning on hosting this event?
It has been completed 5 times and I plan to organize it as long as I play NW competitively.
- What is the average attendance for this event? (You can either give regiment numbers, people in attendance - this can be a round number):
There are always about 15 regiments which all have to have at least 15 players per match (each regiment has about 40 players or more)

Attendence
reasonable regimental Leaders

- History/Background (looking for a short 4-5 sentence summary of the history/creation of the event and why it would be worthwhile adding a child-board for this event): Historically speaking, the regular regimental cavalry event has always been the CNWL (https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?topic=38455.0), which has been granted its official board a few seasons ago. Knowing that Erik wouldn't have time to host it this year and considering nobody seemed interested in taking over, we started organizing the CCL, another event with similarities to the CNWL, but a slightly different concept. This is still a cavalry league but with a home-away system and several other new features.
- Has your event started and completed at least twice? How often are you planning on hosting this event? No, this would be the first edition. But if such an event is successful, we'd like to host again in future.
- What is the average attendance for this event? (You can either give regiment numbers, people in attendance - this can be a round number): 8 regiments, with between 20-30 members each.
- Are there any criteria(s) for entering in this event? Yes/No; if yes, list them in order for us to verify they are in line with the rules. Yes.
Regiments must be capable of lasting for the whole duration of the event (14 weeks). We are looking for regiments who have already made their proofs in past cavalry events and shown themselves respectful of the rules. Regiments must be a full-part of the cavalry community in the sense that they cannot form for the sole purpose of playing this competition.

- You and the other administrators will receive board moderation permissions, in order to manage the event well. Will you agree to use your power(s) wisely, and commit to making decisions that benefit everyone involved? We do. The request for this child-board is to be able to give the CCL staff as much room possible to carry on with its ideas, not suppress its users with unfair censorship. We want the event to be enjoyable for as many people as possible.
PS: I fully understand that this event doesn't necessarily fit some of the aforementioned criteria, but because it is written the FSE administration 'will take these (applications) up on a case-by-case basis.' we figured out it would be worth giving it a try.
A child-board would drastically help us in the making of this event. We have a lot of information to display (media contents, servers, results, videos, etc ..) which it would be complicated to make it all fit in one or several posts of the same thread. We also understand that this event could be seen as hosted for a slim minority of the community but do consider that the cavalry community isn't as active as the infantry one. Regiments currently capable to play the full extent of a 14 weeks event can be counted on the fingers of two hands. Skill isn't the most important criteria we are taking into account. Seriousness, longevity and willingness of the regiment to contribute into keeping the cavalry community active and healthy are the things which matter the most in our eyes. We want the CCL to be a competitive event which accurately represents the current state of the NW cavalry scene, providing the active regiments with weekly matchups.
We are extremely committed to making the CCL at least as successful and qualitative as the previous editions of the CNWL. In order to do so, we've prepared a trailer for the competition, made an announcement thread already linked previously in this post, and already started providing hype contents, while the event hasn't even started yet. All the information about the event can be found on that thread, which we hope the administrators involved in the decision of granting child-boards will check, to evaluate by themselves the level of quality we intend to bring with this event. Our staff is composed of an experienced, serious and dedicated member of the cavalry community, and which have been, for a majority, been hosting events for the NW community in the past, with success.
I remain at the entire disposal of the FSE administration if any further questions or interrogations remain. Thank you for considering our application.[close]

- Organizer(s) Name(s): MarxeiLThis application has been approved; we'll be setting up the board shortly. Please keep in mind that our desire is to have more than a one-time event; we feel that in order to foster a community on the forums and in-game, having multiple events helps maintain stability with the community (be it competitive or casual events alike).

- History/Background (looking for a short 4-5 sentence summary of the history/creation of the event and why it would be worthwhile adding a child-board for this event): To be honest, there wasn't any duel league since 2016, I think. So, that's the main reason why I'm making this. Second, the idea of Tiered League will give an opportunity for any player of the community to prove himself, to play against known, high rated players. You will not be out cause of playing some high tier players in the first round. You are getting seeded in the tier with same skill level players, you are improving your skill, you are beating everybody around you, you are getting in higher tier, you are fighting better players and stuff like this. Third, I like that tournament ladder system allows you to automatize it, basically admins/orgs don't need to waste a lot of time of doing some matchweeks, updating always the thread, making players playing. If you want to play - you are just posting the challenge, contacting a player via Steam and playing, climbing the ladder. No delays, play wherever you want, whenever you want and whoever you want.
- Has your event started and completed at least twice? Nope, that's the first season.
- How often are you planning on hosting this event? I'm planning to make it all-time league, with seasons per 3 months or something.
- What is the average attendance for this event?: For a week we got 55 sign-ups. But I expect to get at least 20-30 more till February. Every player is challenging player above him and getting challenged by a player below him, that's a huge activity and that's why I want to have a child-board for this to make it less messy.
- Are there any criteria(s) for entering in this event? Yes/No; if yes, list them in order for us to verify they are in line with the rules. No, every player in the community can take part in this.
- Who else will require board moderator permissions? Please list their name, a link to the forums, and a Steam link as well (if applicable). That's still being decided, I will update this later if the application is accepted.
- You and the other administrators will receive board moderation permissions, in order to manage the event well. Will you agree to use your power(s) wisely, and commit to making decisions that benefit everyone involved? Yeah, of course we do.

After creating a Matchmaking System for Native we are now quite close to release a similar system for NW aswell. The focus will be set on Europe but we will also try expending into other regions depending on their intrest and if they are willing to donate us a server. SA has already offered us intrest and servers. We will also be trying to get it running for NA in time. EU servers however will be fully hosted by ourselves. With Warband matchmaking we mean a developed system which allows a style of practice that resembles the format which players experience in tournament matches. It is very easy for new players to pick up and only requires basic understanding of the game Mount&Blade: Warband before jumping into a realm of the competitive side of the game. We track basic statistical information such as Kills, Deaths, Wins, Losses, Damage, MMR etc. Currently in order to practice for tournaments, players usually resort to public battle servers which does not in any way resemble an actual competitive match. Our goal with this client is to make people pracise for tournaments more and play competive matches whenever they want to. Without even setting up a team on your own you can queue up and get matched up with other players. We would like to get a subboard to get as many people as possible aware for this new feature and to handle all our different threads. Here (https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?forums/unofficial-warband-matchmaking.470/) is an example how we would like to scruture this subboard.
- What is the average attendance for this event? (You can either give regiment numbers, people in attendance - this can be a round number): I can't say for sure how much attendance there will be but I've already asked around on the forum and other plattforms and the approval was huge. We are running Warband Matchmaking on Native for quite some time now and there has been an exessive amount of games played in the last years. I can give you some stats of Warband Matchmaking Native wise. We currently have 4500 users registered and out of these 4500 users, 3000 played in the last year. Even with the numbers of native dropping because of Bannerlord we have about 1000 matches played in the last 20 days. The matches played had been a lot higher in the past but many from Native have swaped over to Bannerlord. On NW on the other hand it seems like many have stayed in the community and the numbers could be even higher than on native.

- Event's Steam Group Information (if applicable): Steam chat only.
- Event Name: Napoleonic War Infantry League (NWIL).
- Previous Event Thread(s) (if applicable): None.
- History/Background (looking for a short 4-5 sentence summary of the history/creation of the event and why it would be worthwhile adding a child-board for this event): We want to update the old NWL in which most of the community participated. Noting the absence of a new competition of this type, we wanted to succeed others in this organizational role. We have ourselves participated in many of them and are ready to propose a new adventure to the EU community.
- Board description if applicable, what would you like your board description to be? A special board for the 'Napoleonic Wars Infantry League Event.
- Has your event started and completed at least twice? How often are you planning on hosting this event? The event hasn’t started yet, it will take place during 2 or 3 months. We would like to start the league during the 4th week of may.
- What is the average attendance for this event? (You can either give regiment numbers, people in attendance - this can be a round number): We would like to gather as many regiments as possible.
- Are there any criteria(s) for entering in this event? Yes/No; if yes, list them in order for us to verify they are in line with the rules. Yes, in order to join this event, you have to be a serious regiment and accept the rules of the league.SpoilerRules for the Napoleonic Wars Infantry League :
I. No Fire in charge (FIC) and no fire out of formation (FOL), no reload in charge (RIC) and no reload out of formation (ROOF).
1) You are in melee when one bayonet or one sword from either line strikes the player or weapon of the opposing team.
2) Firing out of formation is when a shot is fired from a player of a line which is not stationary and in a tightly packed formation.
3) The officer is not allowed to shoot on his own while his line is waiting in cover.
4) If the outcome of a round is affected by a FIC, a FOOF, a RIC or a ROOF the referee can decide that this round is void.
II. A line can only move in formation.
1) A formation is a line, with no gaps when standing, and with gaps not bigger than 2 men average while moving.
2) Charge movements only in reasonable distances - a charge does not require any formation.
3) You can’t fake charge to avoid an enemy volley.
4) A referee can insist on closing gaps in lines that are moving with too big gaps between their men.
III. Gaps have to be closed tight.
1) If you fire without closing the gap beforehand, you may be punished by the referee.
2) You are not allowed to open the gap after you take a shot.
IV. No officer aiming. This only regards the player in the officer class.
1) In the following situations, officer aiming does not apply.
If the officer is standing in front, behind or in the line (from enemies viewpoint)
In a definite and obvious charge movement towards the enemy line.
2) If the outcome of a round is affected by an officer aiming, the referee can decide that this round is void.

XV. If both teams don't appear, both will get a 0-0 loss. This will result in 0 points for both teams.
XVI. Players may only be in one regiment that is attending the NWIL. If a player is in two regiments that are both in the NWIL they must choose which one to play for.
1) Every regiment has to hand in a list of members who are going to play for the regiment in the NWIL. Needed are the Name under which the member is to be on the server, Community Name and Player ID.
