Yeah that only happens on the melee only muskets from what I've seen. Personally the melee feels a lot quicker making down spam easier from what I've seen as well and as people have said for me it almost seemed normal to stab a guy in the face at least 3 times in the gf matches, even had to stab someone 6 times in a gf match yesterday....
I won lots of things, I came 2nd and 3rd in lots of things, I guess I did some other shit too........ I'm also an FSE legend, probably most commonly described as a cunt. If the shit I do doesn't make sense in your head, well fuck you because it makes sense in mine.

Which i did, against known and reputed player, some of them considered legend, such as, Mandarin, Ledger, Tiberias, Herishey, Hokej, Troister, Axiom, Evanovic, Stark, Eddie, Jammo, Bagins, Freddie, Python. I didn't had a good relationship with most of them, but i congratulate them for what they did, and i had pleasure facing them.

I might make a thread directed straight at FSE as to what with melee ACTUALLY needs fixing. Which people who actually matter can contribute too.

Yeah well its good that you guys notice that something has changed, it must have. The hitboxes will take getting used too which you are right.

Also as for animations, you definitely made changes. Before when pulling out your musket, your arm went from bellow, now its above your soldier. So maybe there are some more that have been updated?

yes.  the melee stats are the same but how you pull off your back is different.  + one has a ranged mode and one doesn't.

I heard a rumour that FSE increased the mass of players. This could, if true, have something to do with sluggish melee and a noticeable increase in the amount of times that pokes occur.

I still think that the changes in the way melee feels has something to do with FPS.

There has also been an increase in the amount of times players seem to be able to use the wrong block to block an attack. I saw a player, to present an extreme example, on the Groupfighting Server block an up and down attack at the exact same time with just an up-block.

Yeh happened with me on an event yesterday, and everyone gets a kill after a reset if no one noticed

In my few hours, my perception has been that swings are faster, but getting to the animation takes longer. That is to say, the time from when I click to when the swing (or stab) starts seems longer, but the time from the start of the swing itself to the end of the swing seems faster. Also, canceling swings and feinting feels slower or delayed. It's felt to me most pronounced on bayonets, three/four direction weapons haven't as different, and the effect for all of the weapons feels far greater on populated servers than offline.
