Even though line work is epic, I will always prefer skirmishing and light infantry work.

One of the best things of doing a marines impression, marines were supposed to be able to do both.

Yeah he is reenacting kinda "realistic" voltigeur so who replaced his pants... Earrings are accurate yeah, moreover in "elite" troops  :D

But it's juste a beautiful picture, I concede there is mistakes : as wearing the "full" shako in battle (not protected)

Oh, I have plenty of pictures of men wearing an uncovered shako in battle. It's definitely more historical accurate then wearing cords.

Sure it's true, but in usual little forest ambush as we did in this event, i'm not sure they were wearing their parade uniform in the mud ^^
