Nice pictures MrT ! :D

L'Empereur speaks with our Peloton commander, Marc Middleton

Oh you know him ! :D Really nice guy I was with him this week-end, many laugh when he answered to the General with an intented horrible british accent  ::)

Though I don't like this man at all..

He was the driving force behind laying special retarded rules towards woman that want to reenact;

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11240073/RULES%20%20REGULATIONS%20GOVERNING%20THE%20PARTICIPATION%20OF%20WOMEN%20IN%20A%20MALE%20MILITARY%20ROLE%20WITHIN%20THE%20FORCES%20OF%20THE%20ALLIED%20POWERS.pdf

Yeah that age old discussion.. I find it extremely stupid, if woman should not be allowed because they might have a big front bumper or too big bum or too long hair then he should not be allowed because he is too fat to historical acuratly reenact a french soldier.

I mean seriously read that document, like they have to completely grow a 3rd leg, whilst many too old or too fat men etc are reenacting which is extremely unrealistic..

Eh I don't think that was Marc Middleton, I'm pretty sure that was the Battalion Commander?

Did he? He seemed perfectly fine at Montmirail, didn't mention anything about the ladies, dunno whether his attitudes have changed since 2011, seemed a very nice guy to me.

You sure it weren't someone else who wrote it and Marc just translated it into English? He does that sometimes I think

A lady in the 85eme was certain Marc wrote it and send her when she wanted to participate in an event.

Perhaps he has changed, but it's quite insane.

Yeah that document is BS, could be Marc sent her that cos he was told to or something, who knows.
Its a good thing these kinds of restrictions are ignored and cannot be enforced, the Walloonians are gonna be in for a shock in 2015 I expect.

Jayzus... just read that document and I want to shoot him! what a completely bigoted and chauvinistic thing to write!
"[15th] Colonel Cenkris: A lazy officer who didn`t contribute anything to the success of his detatchment or the regiment disposed of after displaying incredible disloyalty and attitute problems towards fellow officers"
Aww thanks Cenkris for those kind words

I vote for a re-enected execution, where you lads forget to not put in the bullets.

I managed halfway across the article, then ragequit. Historical accuracy is good, but if you want it that radically, you might as well start putting lead back in the cartridge.
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.
