I plan on doing a series of youtube videos performing Caseys manual for new guys in my company to use.

So what? Still sounds like a good idea to me.
With your logic it would also be bad to joining reenactment or a union group at all, because there are hundreds of others doing it...

The videos are for his group and I imagine it is much better to see someone from the actual group doing these videos than some random guy from the internet.

There are perfectly good video out there to save him the trouble. Just send the new guys a link and discuss with him. Then give them personal training at event. NCO are to take them out of camp and to train them with everything. I believe training in person are more effective than videos.
