There are 3 families in this regiment, MacGregors, MacVicars, and the MacAlisters. So if you are in MacGregors, you have the MacGregor last name in game. (Same for the MacVicars and MacAlisters.)

Seems really confusing.
Basically, if a MacVicar recruits you, you are in the macvicars. same with the other two. MacGregors are more of a royal family, so they will have more CO/NCO's. Plus we are adding an adoption system, where if you don't like the family you're in(MacVicars are a shooting family, MacAlisters are a melee one) The 3 heads will concur after an event and decide whether there should be a trade or just having one person switch. It helps with having people who are really bad at melee and bad at shooting because either way you can be adopted or traded if the CO/NCO's accept it. If that makes any sense.. lol... We have a few channels in ts to more explain it.
