Serious question but how did you guys develop your playing styles? I feel like I just do whatever until I die or until I kill someone. Which is probably why I'm actually the worst duelist.

ignore what everyone else says. You just take turns blocking and attacking until someone misses a block.

I got taught how to chamber by Derp in the 63e as a cadet. Thought it was awesome. Thought I was good at it until I saw Maple. So I decided to get better at it.

The downspam was just a way to bait people into my chambers. Also I like to purposefully miss stabs to bait people into stabs so I can chamber them or sidestep them.

i realized that if i move in a certain autistic way that stabs will glance off me pretty consistently. it works like 75% of the time, which is still more consistent than my blocking

then godfreid stole it from me which wasnt fair because he can do other stuff and i cant

realized my reaction time was too shitty to be blocking properly so i learned every way to avoid blocking and get the kill

Every way besides up-attacking 

Up attacking is slower and does less damage. The only thing going for it is range but before ghostreach got patched down stabs had a longer max range

S key and down stab is still the most overpowered reach in the game

I came into NW and wasn't terrible cause of how much singleplayer I played. But you cant get good unless you pick up on things from the players that beat your ass.

my banana brain is entirely smooth, add 5k hours in mount bad and you get my dogshit playstyle

A thousand hours or so on La Haye Sainte Day death matching with the 8th boys made me a block whore
