I like Rasti's idea.

It's a fun idea to do nevertheless, but I just wonder what the results would prove? It's just another fight like we have each sunday. The result wouldn't change anything, because it's a singular match and people will play like they always do in a 1v1.

Please elaborate on how exactly it'll be different, and what the outcome would prove? Since one of the most important things is consistency, and a singular battle wouldn't do much to credit that.

Some players require good environments to perform whereas other players of arguably similar strengths will be more consistent in their skill display regardless of who they play with, so they are arguably better. Playing with players of your tier, against other players of your tier, means you can no longer hide behind top players, or use weaker players to make your own performance look good, like you could in a CL environment.

I would take myself as an example of a player who is dependant on good teamplay/good communication to play at his regular level but since I am already bottom of my tier, it doesn't prove much. But I genuinely would be interested to see an internal T3 or T4 fight to bring perspective to the ratings although I know practically speaking it would be really hard to set-up. I don't think it would be as interesting for T1 or T2 but T3 and T4 have the wildest range of players both in numbers and skill so these are the tiers where Rasti's suggestion would make the most sense imo.

Could also work for T5 although T5 feels like a tier where new/bad/unknown/not-active enough players are mixed-up altogether.

Ratings based on different "skills" are a good idea not everything is being the best in 1v1's if you are going to suicide because you have 0 awareness or having a excellent skill on killing dismounteds but you need a team that dismount everyone or the opposite people who aims very well to the enemy horse and prefeer to let the kills to the teammate who is behind him. There is also a huge difference on how many players are there fighting, some do really well doing the first pick ups and taking advantage of the chaos of a 18v18, some uses the teamwork on a 8v8 and others just perform better focusing on a few like in a 3v3,2v2...
Btw I think this was the last tournament https://challonge.com/es/j7b0gbg2 and as it is a 3v3 from 2 months ago, it kinda prove the skill of the players better than in a regimental 1v1 (as the last individual 1v1 tournament is from a long time ago)

I don't think you understand.. You have included the tier's number (4) as a rating. There are 11 per player.
