Hey guys,

Just a quick update of whats been happening, working on getting a system setup for active recurring leagues to get their own board.

I posted to get TNWL theirs, but replies were slow and I did not have the power to add it myself, but Mack got it pushed and done, so shout out to Mack

Smaller things are in the works, any ideas, questions or concerns hit me up here or on steam.

Napoleonic Wars Leader Boards
http://nwleaderboards.com

About

I have decided to re purpose my leader board script and website for use with any public or private servers that would like to use it. The website nwleaderboards.com will serve
as the main website for the project and all the servers that are running it will receive a few benefits outlined below. As the name implies, the website will host any and all NW
servers, NA, EU, or Others that want to use it. It is my hope that eventually it will have a majority of the active servers. Thanks for reading!

Benefits:

  • A button on the front page with your servers name and brief description
  • Your own page that has leader boards to your server that can be sorted by kills deaths and teamkills
  • Search coming soon
  • A section on your page where you can put info, rules, or contact information for the server
  • The option to have private leader boards only accessible through a specific url

Servers:

  • NA_Groupfighting
  • Soon to be more!

Modifications / Team point limit
« on: March 31, 2016, 08:52:54 am »
I have been up and down the modules scripts file and can not seem to figure out how to get the max point limit to change.

I have found $g_multiplayer_game_max_points and multiplayer_game_max_points and changed the values that logically associate with them to try and allow for less than 3 rounds per map. I have it showing up in launch now, however as soon as I start a map or exit the admin panel, it changes it to 49 (No idea where 49 is coming from...)

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to look for where the value is checked if its less than 3

The 7th Georgia Infantry pictured above, led by Colonel Francis Bartow, advancing towards the Union battery on Henry Hill.
The Union regiments opposing the 7th Georgia included several renowned regiments including the 11th New York Fire Zouaves, the 14th Brooklyn, and the not yet famous 1st Minnesota Volunteer Infantry

    History

The Georgia 7th Infantry Regiment was formed in May, 1861, at Atlanta, Georgia, and in June moved to Harper’s Ferry, Virginia. Assigned to Colonel F. S. Bartow’s Brigade, Army of the Shenandoah, it was active in the fight at First Manassas. In April, 1861, the regiment had 611 effectives and served under the command of General G. T. Anderson until the end of the war.

The 7th participated in the campaigns of the Army of Northern Virginia from the Seven Day’s Battles to Cold Harbor, except when it was detached with Longstreet at Suffolk, in Georgia, and at Knoxville. The 7th was not involved in the Battle of Chickamauga. It was active in the long Petersburg siege south and north of the James River and later the Appomattox Campaign. It reported 153 casualties at First Manassas, 147 during the Seven Day’s Battles. Losses were light at Fredericksburg and Gettysburg, but from April 14 to May 6 there were 98 disabled, and from August 1 to December 31, 1864, the unit had 56 killed or wounded. On April 9, 1865, it surrendered with 24 officers and 164 men.

The few who survived the war returned home to total destruction and for many of the men of Companies D and H, their wives and children were never found, having been shipped north by Sherman and left destitute in Ohio and Illinois. This story of the Roswell and Mansfield Mill Workers is another documented atrocity against southern civilians performed by Sherman and his troops.

    Historical Discussion / French Theory
    « on: October 06, 2015, 01:36:31 am »
Does anyone think that perhaps, the reason the french are branded with being cowards has to do with the fact that most of the brave frenchmen died/were scattered over Russia during the Napoleonic Wars? They were far from cowardly during that time, and everyone seems to ignore that and just quotes world war 1 and 2. Thoughts?

Does anyone know where the french=cowards came from?
