Rules:

The New Continent Server Rules

For the players:

- Required RP nickname

- Prohibition of glitch/usebugs

- Prohibition to kill or halt without reason

- Prohibition to kill players unless they do not cooperate or in case of war

- Any interaction must be done by playing RP

- Prohibition to return to the position of death before 5 minutes after death ("out of war")

- When a player halts another player it is considered an attack and the player can retaliate

- Outlaws can take as much merchandise as they want from a cart or a player

- Indians are not outlaws

- A player is not allowed to associate with robbers to ransom a player

- Outlaws are not allowed to attack a faction (raid) unless their strength is equal to or greater than 5 and the target faction strength is greater than 5

- Bandits have no right to interfere in a war


-Outlaws can stop and steal from any player

- It is forbidden to pass outlaw and then join the same faction in order to exploit the rules ( A player sees a shipment pass outlaw, steals the shipment and rejoins the faction)

- Outlaws can steal up to 10% of the faction chest during a raid like this for the Indians

- Bandits can be paid for a task such as murder, but they cannot join with one faction to fight another.

- Tolerance 0 on the server, tired of trolleys that spoils the game experience of other players. Depending on the seriousness of the fault, the penalty varies from Refund for minor fault to Ban Perm for serious or repeated fault.

- A request from Unban may be made to the administration. (You can only be unbanned one time !)


For wars:


- [Field] Battles can be line or skirmish battles

The Rambo will be severely punished (ex: player attacks a line / fort alone)

- A faction may attack another faction if the latter has a valid casus belli (casus belli invalid territory except to take the colonial)

- When a faction wins the war and captures the enemy castle, the victorious faction can only take 20% of the faction's chest.

- Max time of a war 1h45

- Cart in front of the doors to block access during an authorized seat if a passage is left (rider can pass)

- A war can only be declared when the attacking faction and the defending faction have at least 5 members.

- A casus belli is valid for 12 hours (IRL)

- When declaring war it is prohibited to engage in hostilities before 15 minutes after the declaration of war (except Indians for raids)

- Indians can launch raids lasting up to 15 minutes, with only 1 LIFE
Indians may engage in hostilities as soon as they declare war
but must not be located on the land of the country targeted by the raid at the time of the declaration

- It is allowed to kill commoners who are on a battlefield

- At the end of a war a truce is instituted which prohibits any aggressive interaction between the members of these 2 factions. The latter lasts 30 minutes

- It is forbidden to declare war while in the castle or on enemy territory

- We can't break a truce for any reason

- If the colonial faction loses a war but the aggressor decides to keep his base fort, the faction that won the war will be exempt from tax for 4 hours (if another faction captures the colonial during the period of this pact it will be cancelled)


For the factions:



- Maximum 1 Alliance per faction
- Indian factions can join forces with other factions
- Alliances are temporary ( time of war) and are allowed if and only if:

1. The attacking faction is under-strength compared to the defending faction 
2. The faction defends itself against a stronger faction ( +10 members)

- When an alliance is declared, it must be announced and when it is broken, a 30-minute truce is established between the 2 factions concerned

- Trading beetwen faction is allowed

- A tax may be requested by Colonial holders for import/export of a maximum value of 30% of the goods.
