Unfair Muting

What is with Lister Bashnell's muting? He received 4 warnings each 30 seconds this morning for what appear to be spurious reasons.

Even if he had done wrong... 4 warnings for one offence?? It says 'please cease these activities' in each one. It's just pure duplication in effort to accelerate punishments and drive people off the forums. The amount of times I've seen worse spam of sorts on other threads is beyond countable and fair and comprehensive admining to this standard would see half of the forum muted. Why, even on our very own Groupfighting_Server thread we've had spam gone undealt with and even had Moderators make tongue-in-cheek and provocative comments. Examples from a while ago:
 
Incessant posting on our Groupfighting_Server by Fyzzaraya thread to provoke Tavington for example:

Shocking hypocrisy in the server admins' practice. You really need to re-examin yourselves and stop this unrelenting bias and desire to castigate certain parts of the community. One of the big reasons for the community turmoil (the 'revolution' as many like to call) was because of it and it's only going to stir more resentment and hate.

OH NOES! Lets be honest no one cares if they are banned from the forums. I don't, because I would then just be part of the 3/4 of the community that play NW, and don't come onto these forums, they're not special. And I don't believe Evan has insulted someone on the forums. Links or it didn't happen.

There have been countless of people saying; "Oh my last post guys, i am going to get banned lulz"
Yet it didn't happen.

Really now? If they wanted people to get off the forum, I am sure they would just either close the forum, ban the majority of the people or make all posts moderated.
And besides that, warnings are given out of leniency. The fact is that he already broke the rules, he may aswell be kicked out without warning.
Furthermore, your screanshot does not show if they are all for the same offence.
To me it seems more like likely tha the recieved a warning per times he broke the rules.
Do tell me how that would be unfair?
