My issue with this kind of stuff is that I get really stressed about doing a bad job of the painting, to the point where I can hardly start projects like this anymore.

I got decent at painting WH40K but I haven't touched that stuff in some 8 years, and its much easier to paint metals and tanks than horses and fabrics.

I've literally had a box of Perry British hussars lying around in my room somewhere for months, I just need to man up and do a shit job of them so I can get more and improve.

Maybe you can relate, I just would hate to ruin models by really fucking up the painting.

Its all about patience and good light  - oh  also  good eyesight or magnification devices  to see fine details  - and lots of practice.

Here is Major Baring  on his  horse  just needs some flat coat over the top.

Hey! The figures look really good. There is a lot of work, time and also dexterity in it. Are you doing it just for fun or is it for a specific project? I wish you continued success with it. :)

Its going to be an actual scene  made into a diorama  on a base and then kept in a case, Its just for my own satissfaction to be honest  and pure enjoyment building it.
