Regimental Standards

The 73rd (Perthshire) Regiment of Foot is a regiment that values discipline, but not at the cost of having fun. Although we take our battles and our reputation seriously, we still remember that this is only a game. All that we ask of our members is that they give their best effort, and try to do the 73rd justice in its name. We aim to be respectful, show no tolerance for trolling, and encourage friendship within the community. We are a community that plays a wide variety of games, but first and foremost comes our love of Napoleonic Wars. With three companies that specialize in nearly every aspect of the game (line infantry, light infantry, and cavalry), the 73rd offers diverse opportunities to succeed and enjoy yourself.

History of the Leibkorps The origin of the body goes to the Corps set up by Duke Friedrich Wilhelm von Braunschweig - Oels 1809 " Black crowd " back , which fought against the troops of Napoleon Bonaparte . The volunteer corps moved as " Braunschweig - Lüneburgsche hunter " in English services , fought under Wellington's command in the " Peninsula - war " in Portugal and Spain , before returning to Brunswick on November 10, 1814 . On 1 January 1815 of the veterans of " Peninsula War " that formed " Battalion under the command of Major von Pröstler " . However, in late 1814 , many soldiers had left the service , the companies were filled by members of the 1813 established vanguard battalion . On April 14, it was called the " Body of battalion " . It consisted of four companies and had an authorized strength of 672 men After Napoleon's return ordered Duke Friedrich Wilhelm , the immediate mobilization and on April 15 broke the Herzoglich Braunschweigische field Corps to Belgium to . The body belonged to Battalion together with the three light battalions of the Light Brigade under the command of Lt. Col. William Treusch von Buttlar . On June 18 , it took part in the Battle of Waterloo . It was used on the right flank in the homestead Hougomont and earned recognition for his commitment again . I've experience in many groups and have been an NCO in some. A community that plays other games together is a bonus! I'm available most weekends and some weekdays. Looking forward to hear from you
