If I play commander battle I always myself look really upperclass and pompous ( either with moustache or a monocle as well as a sly face and the little pony tail), if I am playing any of the other modes I give my self a cigar, dark brown mutton chops and a grizzly face.

I hit random until I get a half decent looking face, tweak it a bit, and add a cigar for that southern officer feel. Newkirk complete.

What came to mind when I thought "French Old Guard". A bug is restricting me from having grey hair, though. I had it, then something happened, and now I don't.

Sometimes Directx7 wont show grey or white hair, I've had that issue before. If you are using Directx9 then I have no idea.

One of my favorite things about warband, is the large level of customization for one's own character. That is why I enjoy doing what I can with the game to make the character look like me . I think it adds to the fun to play as yourself. (Note I do not possess a fancy British Rifleman's officer uniform...) So I guess this is my rifle officer  in game version of me- I do not give my character anything fancy, no 19th century awesome facial hair , etc, though maybe I should in the future. The hair is a bit darker than mine and I wish there were a few more color options. Though this is quite impressive option wise. Sometimes I give my character some straw or a dandelion for good luck. ( It didn't stop the cannonball though.)
