Claiming you were merely playing passive because of your ping is hypocritical bullshit and you all know it. Fireboy and Moraine came into our ts after the match and said that the you guys were delaying every round as long as possible so that some of my players would either ragequit or go to bed. Because you were all salty that you couldn't force me to play on an NA server. It was honestly a really great display of you guys' attitude. Along with the constant shit talking in all chat, you guys have shown yet again why noone from the EU takes you seriously.
The funny thing is that the delaying actually worked in our favour, as we had a more inexperienced leader leading the first 2 rounds (I love you mels and I couldnt have done it better than you, but lets be honest). After those 2 rounds pieter came home, and we didnt lose a single round after that.
About not playing on an NA server I had 4 different reasons:
1. There is talk of some turks getting ddossed after the match against you guys. Whether these were rumours or not, I was not willing to risk it.
2. I have some really really inexperienced players who can barely block in my team. Giving those guys 100 ping will just make them an easy target.
3. Quite a few of you guys play on EU anyways and are used to the ping. Apart from Movement, none of my guys play actively on NA. This gives you guys an insane advantage if we were to come to NA.
If you have a consistent ping you can make anything work after you get used to it. Look at the turks, some of their players are really good with 80+ ping. Since none of my players ever play NA, none of them are used to that ping, meaning that each and every one of them would be useless. While loads of you guys have played quite a lot of EU and are more used to the 100 ping.
4. The only reason to play on NA is sportsmanship. But you guys have shown yesterday that you dont deserve any semblance of respect or sportsmanship.
As long as a league doesn't force me to play on NA, i will NEVER play on an NA server. Yesterday has only cemented that decision further.
