So I've been stuck with my potato for a while now and I really want a better PC to run the top games. I want to run all the high end games as well as possible.
I'm not made of money and the other day I came across this video made my jackfrags (the guy who plays with FrankieOnPcIn1080p a lot)

It's a video of him buying the cheapest parts he can find for a good gaming PC and putting them all together.
The total cost for the PC was approximately £433.51 including VAT and delivery. Later on in the video he plays BF4, CS:GO and Crysis 3 to demonstrate the PC and they all achieved a consistent rate of 60fps. And I was like "Dayum, thats pretty good"

When building your own PC, it's better to take parts that are a bit more expensive. That way you don't have to upgrade again in a year from now.

My pc is rather similar in price range although a little cheaper than yours, Mine works fine although it could use a few tweaks here and there,

Here is a playlist of my pc in action although with the first 4 ish videos im only using 4gb of ram as i only had a 32bit operating system.



There shouldnt be much differnce in performance between the two systems, although if you need a cheaper and reliable system such as mine (costed about £400 pounds) and plays most games Very-High to ultra then feel free to ask toffee and il give you the specs.

Definantly, i have the same proccessor you posted, It may have 6 cores but thats AMD's way of making up for bad core for core power, so they just add more in, so on open world games or games that require a beefy CPU, sometimes it can lack a little power but other than that it should be flawless, i play all games at ultra with maybe a few settings turned down like anti aliasing to half, as when you play in 1080p you dont really need full anti aliasing its not a noticable differnce but you get a performance hit.

When i was choosing parts for my PC I always wanted to spend the most on the 3 key components.

-The Case

-The Motherboard

-The CPU

I feel like everything else can be easily upgraded at a later date, If theres anything I would recommend is buying a cheap GFX card, while initially it seems dumb, Personally i feel like I would buy a cheap GFX part then at a later date after I've saved money, buy a high end card without worrying about bottlenecking my CPU or seeing if it would fit in my cheap 20 dollar micro ATX case.

1st thing
To start of with, you just need more thermalpaste in your RIG atm on your CPU & GPU. (Too be able to play on a higher framerate & higher quality!)

2nd thing
You probably have to wash off the inner particles of dust that have entered your motherboard. Do not use normal water for this! < I've warned you.
Use sterile water, you can buy it in your stores and pour the sterile water into your sink and just wash it of. Trust me this will clean it from all the dust particles and what else might be in there.

If none of those above work you should try to do this:

Sometimes those bars tend to fuck up the connection between the motherboard and the CPU/GPU itself. Bending them this way makes it a clear way for the electrons to pass and enter.

Use sterile water

Quick heads up: there is nothing like sterile water. Only water, and that which we get in our home.

Pipe water, is in fact water + a whole shitload of other things, to make it drinkable, for example.

'Sterile water', is, in fact, just water, and with that I mean water only (dihydrogenoxide, H2o)

You can make it yourself, just boil water and catch the fumes, and just to be sure, repeat some times)

Oh and by the way, speaking from experience NVidia > AMD. AMD may be like 30 dollars cheaper for the same power, but AMD consistently fucks up their drivers, has worse customer support, smaller compatability with upcoming technologies (NVidia GSync, PhysX to name a few) and is usually the card you hear about having problems with new games (for instance, RAGE). Having switched from AMD to Nvidia, I'd reccommend NVidia any day. It's the same situation with the CPU, but less prominent.
