As stated above the rule is in place for the protection of the sanity of new players. The rule will more than likely never be changed as the server plays host to many regiments and their recruiters at the same time. Before the rule was in place it was hard to read chat at all between the regiment spam. NA 1 generally gets packed full during sales. I want to keep it a relatively spam free zone where they can enjoy the game without being bombarded like scantily clad women walking down the Vegas Strip.

A glorious resurrection is about to begin. My schedule has opened up and I now have enough time to devote to running this bad boy again. Recruitment will open back up and once the recruits begin to roll in I will be trying to get us into as many events as possible throughout the week.

You were warned, temp banned, and then perma banned for using slurs, and then using those slurs to insult the admin team. So either you suddenly came down with a case of amnesia or really didn't think we would check the logs?

Bump this thread on 3/21 to be unbanned. And if/when you do, I would suggest that you stop using slurs. Next time we just won't unban you.

1. The rule of the server is "First person to the cannon gets it the entire round, and does not have to share."

2. You were warned once to buzz off. Stealing cannons is a banworthy offense on our server. You do not have "Rights" to a cannon and you cannot force anyone to share.

3. A temp ban is a one hour ban and cannot be reverse. You can join again when the hour is up. When you do join, I recommend you follow the rules. The next time you are seen stealing anyone's cannon you will be banned for far longer.

For future reference for yourself. On maps where cannons are static, the first person to the cannon gets it the entire round whether you like it or not. On maps where the cannons are spawned, the officer who brings the cannon is the only person who gets to shoot it unless he has given permission to someone else, abandons the cannon, or dies.

I've been jumping on and off the server casually at late hours when NA_1 has gone to sleep. I daresay you have succeeded and snapping up the monopoly for an NA siege server. Community is pretty mellow considering what I'm used to, it's a nice place to kill a couple hours at night. Keep it up fellas.

The name you were banned under was "Melina" and you were banned for the use of racial slurs. Please do not use them, keep your language clean when you play on NA_1.

After being given a declaration of love by Johann in your favor, you are hereby pardoned of the crime of impersonation.

For future reference, we take any report of impersonation very seriously on NA_1, and wearing the tag of a regiment you are not a part of at any time is considered to be said crime.

You should be able to rejoin the server within the hour.

Preaching to the choir. NA1 is stuck with the servers it has. All of the other servers have been switched to EU or for BCOF testing. This conversation has already been had and shot down.

I reset the server at least once a day after I get home. I live on the west coast and work until 6 pm Monday Wednesday and Friday.  Have 8 hour shifts on the weekend and go to class for 11 hours on my days off. The warband engine is simply not optimized for the amount of players the server sees on a daily basis when I am unable to be online for the most part.

However I will speak to Vince no about allowing William the same access I have to the server files. Not that I don't trust our EU brethren but I would feel much more comfortable with my own my Co head admin instead. That way we can get the reset two or three times a day like we need.
