0 ping makes me always think they are sitting right on top of the server with their computer.  Just like Deo with the Polish Army Public Server.  :P

Spoiler
Hopefully someone caught what I did there.
[close]

and yea if you host a server from your computer, its 0 ping.(for you)

He is the Server dun dun duuuuuuunnnnnnn!!!

He is god, dun duun duuuuunnnnnnnn!!!

He is the magic number dun dunn duuunnnnnnnn!!!

But seriously ... its a network error where that person will forever have 0 ping as it won't register the actualy ping so it displays a default of 0, this of it like the start of any sporting event ... everyone starts with 0, thats just default.

The 0 ping offers no benifit but is negative because you don't actually know your ping.

If your ping is actually higher than 0 but network error puts it to 0 you're actually at disadvantage - people with ping less than ~50 have slower blocks/attacks while people higher than ~60-70 get faster blocks/attacks than default. It pretty much evens the playing field regarding pings (until you go over 100 ping), but in this case it actually puts you at disadvantage.
However, even with this slower/faster attacks having lower ping is preferable.

The thing is the ping is not actually 0, it could actually be 0-9999 the value is unkown, this is caused by what I think to be network errors possibly with an ISP. the 0 is not an acutual value but a place holder ... it just represents value "X". Over 100 is noticeable from someone with 60 ping and vice versa but not knowing your pacing in the first round puts you at a large disadvatange as you don't know what kind of a stance you can take effectively and your timings.

Unfortuatly the "Reaction time" is not taken into consideration so keeping a constant those at an advantage are those who can see things coming, hence lower ping is better.

I know i'm agreeing but had to flesh it out with some Theories on the 0 ping problem (One of the 52nd used to have this problem and still has it with Native although its not really a problem).

This is true. And I also think that this is why I lost a duel when I had 6 ping. Everything was out of sync for me. :(

I had similar experience when I changed ISPs and my ping changed from ~30 to ~60. All your timings are suddenly wrong and every chamber misses :)
Although, I've seen people do great in duels even with 110 ping, so once you get used to your ping it's not that big issue.

Yep, which is why lag is really annoying, as opposed to high ping, as it changes your ping constantly making it nigh on impossible to adapt.

From my superior sleuthing skills, I have deduced he is using autoblock.
