? I get what you are saying we have members that are not born in Ireland but their parents or grandparents are yes, but that allows for us as members of the UK to gain Irish citizenship clearly you don't understand this..
TLDR: It is a matter of citizenship not heritatge, our heritage allows us to have a legal right to gain citizenship, you have no legal right to gain citizenship because your parents were born in the USSR this is because, there is no legislation that exists to give you that right.
