Completly non-serious regiment and leader. He has canceled 2 1v1s with us on the day of the event. I would recommend all regiments to be careful if they are wanting to 1v1 this regiment. Very poor organization. 1/5 stars.

Whole regiments that were sent to intercept and arrest him defected to his cause. An allied army was assembled in Belgium which included the 28th who had hurried across the sea from Ireland where they had been stationed for several years. Napoleon was aware that he had only a short time to obtain a quick victory whilst the allies were still bickering about who should do what and before the allied army grew to an overwhelming size. He therefore marched towards Brussels on the 15th June. He met the Prussian army at Ligny driving them off and nearly destroying them completely. Wellington had decided to stop the French advance at Quatre Bras some 25 miles south of Brussels and on 16th June at the crossroads the battle was joined. In March of this year Napoleon escaped from Elba and returned to France gathering popular support as he travelled slowly from the coast to Paris. Whole regiments that were sent to intercept and arrest him defected to his cause. An allied army was assembled in Belgium which included the 28th who had hurried across the sea from Ireland where they had been stationed for several years. Napoleon was aware that he had only a short time to obtain a quick victory whilst the allies were still bickering about who should do what and before the allied army grew to an overwhelming size. He therefore marched towards Brussels on the 15th June. He met the Prussian army at Ligny driving them off and nearly destroying them completely. Wellington had decided to stop the French advance at Quatre Bras some 25 miles south of Brussels and on 16th June at the crossroads the battle was joined. The 28th in square against cavalry valiantly resisted every effort to break them and eventually Marshall Ney, the French Commander was forced to withdraw. During the height of the battle Sir James Kempt, the Brigade Commander rode into the 28th's square, doffed his hat and cried 'Bravo 28th, The 28th are still the 28th and your conduct this day shall never be forgotten'.
After the battle of Quatre Bras the 28th joined the main army at Waterloo. Wellington had chosen the location for it's suitability to his now well known tactic of hiding the exact number and strength of his force by screening parts of it behind dips and rises in the land. As a bonus this also served to protect some units from direct damage from artillery. He intended to deny the battlefield to the enemy until Blucher's Prussians could recover from their mauling at Ligny and come up to re-enforce him. As he said afterwards, "It was a damned serious business, the nearest thing you ever saw in your life". During the course of the evening Napoleon was informed that the Prussians would shortly arrive, and in desperation he flung in the last of his reserves, the famed Imperial Guard. Unfortunately the ploy failed and the Guard were repulsed with heavy loss. Wellington took of his hat and waved it as a signal for a general advance. The French army was broken and fled the field. Napoleon went into exile once again this time to remain there until his death.
The 28th North Gloucestershire Regiment is proud to count Waterloo amongst it's many battle honours and equally proud to have been the only regiment mentioned by name in Wellingtons Waterloo Despatches.

Have to say that at first I didn't know what to say about this regiment but now I believe that is one of the best regiments out there! The CO's and NCO's are really patient with the recruits and privates and they are also open-minded towards new ideas. Furthermore, most of the guys in the regiment were not such good in melee but through the understanding and the lessons given by the officers they managed to become better and better. :) Also, who said old dogs can't learn new tricks? Even Nico, Rapid and the others learned some new tricks from the newcomers regarding melee. 8) To sum it up, it is a great regiment and I hope we will survive longer than any other regiments out there! No offense gentlemen. ;)Did a bunch of Recruits have to teach them how to BLOCK?

We basically owned on the 3pp event though and crushed 65th in melee.didn't mention the match before that ^^
As I said to matty, we are not a very perfect regiment. It was FIC 1-2 second after the order 'Charge', we didn't camp a lot, and the last 3-4 rounds we were going agressive, and you guys were holding the line on the hill and started to fire for about a minute or 2 so we did the same. I'll talk with Rapid about it when he comes online as he is the colonel and he deserves the final word.

Also we fought 2 Lbs before, the first one we won 6-4 the second we won 9-1.

It was my fault too for not stating and resolving that issue as it occurred. If it was real NWL rules like how you wanted then rounds will be given to us. Your "Didn't camp a lot" was a joke too, around 7-8 minutes in total consists of standing still. When it comes to NWL rules like how you wanted is both sides has to move after 2 minutes, not 5 minutes, you can look it up yourself.
As you mentioned, fic'ing is not possible to maintain as people are not "Robots" then you should keep in mind that this no FiC rule will not be in place to start with, FiC should not occur when the order was given to charge.
I'll admit the leading was not as great from us, fair rounds was scored, after all this isn't a official serious event, i'll leave it be here.

You camped every single round. We had to come after you every single time. I don't play NW to be shot at from hills consistantly. Yeah, once is fine, but not three rounds in a row. Wouldn't be so bad if you actually moved around the map to get to a hill, instead you just jumped on the one at your spawn.1. You agreed with the map and the rules. 2 We were camping for like 1 minute (idk who was leading) Then you guys left because we ''hill camped'' Well 32e, the most times we did not even hill camped. How many rounds were there, no idea but in my opinion you just broke the rules what we agreed. Instead of leaving you could say when the first time we hill camped (Not sure if this was a hill camp) You could say it instead of leaving the linebattle. 5 minute's countdown for hill camp we were like 1-2 minutes on that hill and you leaved. You didn't agreed with the Rules (32e) and you rage quitted.

And all because I left the 45th. If you are unable to take criticism or handle people leaving, maybe you should not lead a regiment in the first place.

And our regiment now has 14 members, while yours apparently has none. Why can't you just let the 45th live on with someone else as the leader? Instead it seems that you think of yourself so highly that no one else can live up to your made up "legacy", it worked out fine before you came into the picture so I really don't see why you can't just leave and let it live. It was not your regiment in the first place, it was not your creation and it was not you who built up a majority of the player-base. And even after all these conflicts, where you have been talking shit about me, our regiment, how I am "nothing", a "little punk" and so forth, I have not done anything to you. So I don't see what your problem is in the first place.
