Cavalry Pickup Parties - June Battle

A great attendance, both teams were at some point 14 each, but we ended on 12 each! We had some real heavy hitters in both teams. It started as a very onesided match for team Goodest, After which the teamspeak became the most cancerous thing you can imagine and memes spouting out of everyone. Untill we realised it was 7-5 at which point we decided to just kinda end it.

Cavalry Pickup Parties - June Battle

Little bit of a lesser attendance today, still a 8v8 for most of the pickup party. I decided to switch it up a bit and when I got the captain I took heavies. It was a very tense match and it kept being round swaps. We started 1-0. Then 1-1 and it kept going untill the 5-5 like that. Thank you all for coming! It was a fun match as always <3

Bit of trolling from 1 team, but in the end we got it done. A dominating performance from 1 team, all rounds were over fast and this will probably go down as the fastest CPP. Thanks everyone for coming nontheless and I hope to see most of you back in the next edition!

There has been a rule change, going forward we will only allow the first 16 people to join the CPP. So all CPP's going forward will be 8v8, if you are not one of the first 16 to join TS you will be denied.

CPP Announcement

Sorry, when we restarted this I got a trip to Berlin. I've also been invested into other games recently, me and Goodest have spoken about the current state of Cavalry Pickup Parties and have decided to fully restart it next year. We are unsure how we are gonna go about this, the previous template ofcourse was every Friday at 21:15 CEST; if this will continue is unsure for now. We also do not know how frequent the CPP will be.

Our apologies for the current confusing state of CPP. We will do our best to make sure that next year it will continue as it should.

It was a good start, better than I expected tbh. At first, I was afraid we would not even reach the 16 men attending this event, but I was proven wrong soon enough.

Unfortunately, I had to send away Arathorn, Squak, Dokletian, Aless, Bocom, Wasike, and Norwegian, who later on took my place, as he was the 17th to join.
This is due to a rule Dokletian already complained about which I can understand.

Thank you goodest for hosting this edition of the CPP! Thread has been edited accordingly.

Ofcourse also a huge thank you to the Cavalry Community. Back when I added that rule it was needed. It became a serious problem and we never really reached 16 anyway. When we did it became either a bit cancerous or crowded.

However, I have spoken to Goodest and we have decided that we wanna try without the 16 man limit again. Therefor we are removing the rule.

But, we are gonna be enforcing another rule a bit harsher now. We will no longer allow people to join the CPP mid-cpp. This means; if the first round has begun. You can no longer join.
