Re-skinning
« on: August 01, 2016, 12:43:33 am »
Could someone post a brief explanation on how to re skin,
I could of course ask people to do it for me, but then I wouldn't feel the same accomplishment as if I did it myself

Cheers,
Jeff

I'm not a retexturer/reskinner but the basics is:

You need openBRF to view the models in Resource folder.
You need an editing program like paint.net or photoshop to open the models' textures for editing.

Hello.. I have a problem... It says I don't have Mount&Blade Warband: Napoleonic War and I have to buy it
Try joining a regular Napoleonic Wars server and then re-running the installer.

Soo...? what exactly was your point posting this? if you can find tutorials, and you can ask for people doing it for you?

Get OpenBRF. That lets you look at the various models used in the game and the textures put on to them.

Get Paint.net so you can edit those texture files. Have a play.
