Most probably the british, or the austrians, it is quite hard to decide.

It is not. Austrians are boring and nobody likes them. British are not and everybody loves them. Pls do Austian

The problem is, that it's going to get very difficult to replace. Then again it seems more logical. I'll see when I start adding the units I already made in-game.

It would be more logical to replace the UK. The UK and the Dutch had similar uniforms during the time of the NW DLC is based. And, they were obviously allied. Plus, it'll be a real pan in the ass to replace the loads of Austrian units.

If you replaced UK you wouldn't be able to make hussars, which would suck considering there were some cool Dutch hussar regiments. Austria seems like a good choice.

What are you on about? They were a highland regiment up to 1809 when they became a normal line regiment wearing normal line uniform. So when you say highlanders wearing non highland uniform you mean highlanders in a line regiment. Ergo a line regiment.

They had their highland uniform removed in the late 1700 but retained a highland name, and were reissued highland uniform in the 1830s

Until 1809 they were Highlanders when because they couldn't actually find any Scots willing to join their motley band they lost their highland status and uniform, adopting breaches and shako's. In the 1840's however they were retitled as Highlanders, but that's a long way off. So what is it that you believe is special about their uniform?
