Hey all! I have been keeping an eye on a mod for Battlefield 1942 that depicted Finland's wars with the USSR and Germany during WW2. From a bit of quick searching, this is the 1st NC Cavalry:

There have been MANY previous regiments that tried to steal someone elses names by adding a particular company, battalion or class on the end, it does not stand. 1st NC comprises of ALL classes and all regiments of 1st NC.
TL:DR its reserved by ikhoppa. Stop using it.
Well, if that guy wants to raise an official fuss about it, they might change their name. But until then, they can call themselves whatever they like.

I've always wondered about the Soundtracks for some mods, such as Napoleonic Wars, and have found that none have released the great music contained within either due to copyright concerns (in the case of NW), or general lack of interest. Would it be possible to get good quality mp3 files of the songs contained within as played on the various instruments, or would legal concerns hinder it? If they are an issue, what musician(s) should I contact to see about obtaining copies?

I was a member of the 1st Minn for about 3 weeks but when they announced they were changing their tags to a ww2 German regiment and I objected I was told that I could just leave and than was promptly booted from the team speak server. Im an older gamer whos usually pretty quiet in chat, my skills are not fantastic but I do show up every nite so if your a regiment that can play the mod as designed but can still have fun give me a shout.

« on: August 11, 2015, 03:25:57 pm »It have been a long time since i made my last post on this board. Anyway, today i tried to play North and South 1.0 but i crashed ( even with very low settings ). I heard that this game runs great on 64 bits, but hell i got a 32 bit computer. Is there a "lighter" version or a fix for this?
