Unfair Muting

Ok I'm probably going to get muted myself for this but this needs to be posted. Even after all this stupid drama there's still completely biased moderating going on. The image below shows the latest one I've seen, sadly I'm sure there'll be more.

Please can we either hold the same rules for everyone, or stop moderating certain people for anything possible.

I find it hard to believe he got muted just for that. There should really be an option for people to click on the mute to see what the reasoning behind it was, so that is removes misconceptions (if this is what this case is). However some clarity on this situation would be useful.

+1 I completely agree, unfair bias which was brought up on Hekko's thread yet evidently hasn't been adressed properly, admins are still making awful decisions.

To be honest it is not hard to believe that he got muted for it, especially in light of recent events.

List of warning reasons + point value for the muting of James:

-Insulting Users + 10
-Insulting Users + 10
-Insulting Users + 10
-Instigating fight (no warning points added)
-Instigating fight (no warning points added)

There's a list of prior offenses anyway. In any case if admins can see that you do it repeatedly then there's often a chance that you will cop it.

I'd like clarification if possible. Because personally I agree with what Tavington said in that one post. Anyone in 5th Brigade can tell you my hatred for all that pony crap (incoming mute?). My issue though, is the apparent one sided-ness of the example I have shown. This is purely based on what I have seen. I may be completely wrong, but we'll see.

The way I see it, that doesn't justify punishing one person and not the other for saying the same thing.
