I was thinking about a campaign with a competitive side. Keeping track on scores of individual regiments that are participating in battles where at the end of the campaign the regiment with the best scores can win a prize. - For example

The concept was meant especially for EU, but I guess if enough serious interest it could be for NA as well. Although it really is just a concept of an idea so far.

What are your thoughts about this? (To anyone reading)

@Gokiller

From what I understood, that is a conquest event, the idea is great tho.

Later today, I will post some of my ideas in this thread.

It's not the same as conquest. Completely different actually.

Well that's surely a coincidence. :P
But it does not seem to have a competitive score side at it.

The Concept. It's pretty rough and I can't really call it solid enough yet. But feel free to take a look at it.

Great idea, has been tried numerous times in NA can confirm been here 4+ years.... The reason it doesn't work is too many regiments pullout, disband, or  lose interest would be interested if something organized comes up.

Money prize for winners, entry fees to participate, if you back out, disband, whatever, you lose your money

I think I explained my idea to some people a little bit ago but here it is:

So you have a campaign that has five stages; Let's call these 1,2,3,4,5.
Let's call the teams A and B
The campaign starts at 3 which is something like a conquest map.
Then depending on which side wins, the campaign moves to either 2(A) or 4(B) which is a regular linebattle.
Let's say that the A has won.
Then depending on which team wins, the campaign either moves back to the conquest stage(3) if B wins or advances onto the siege phase(1) if A wins.
Then if A attacks the castle(1) and wins a best of 3? they win the campaign. However if they lose, then if returns back to the linebattle(2).

Yeah, I've only seen one campaign 'succeed' -> being properly played and that was 5 years ago in MM. It's a good point that one of the reasons of others failure is because of the regiments. But I've seen also plenty of attempts that failed because the organisers simply jumped off the boat.

Money prize for winners, entry fees to participate, if you back out, disband, whatever, you lose your money
Doesn't really work well with a community of which the majority isn't an adult. Even though it has not been attempted before so far I know, I guess it's a pretty accurate guess that it simply won't work.
