Mount and Blade: Bannerlord questions

This is a thread where people can ask questions and maybe more informed people can answer them. My first question is quite basic and broad: has anyone heard anything about Bannerlord? We only saw that trailer so I'm wondering if there's been news thus far. Thanks for all your love, FSE forum users. :P

They haven't released anything else about it unfortunately, so none of us know anything more than what was showed in the trailer.

I've heard that the drums of battle will beat again and swords will sing their grim song, someone is going to let the land burn and the blood flow (not very nice), until one banner conquers all.

I just want to know if they are going to continue with the same factions and era as the orginals, and if they are going to turn it into "more life like graphics" like war of the roses and chivalry, in which case I will have to be persuaded to buy the game.

I expect that it will probably still be in Calradia, but there might be more factions and the map might change. Warband was the same land, but with a new map and the added Saranids. Hopefully they'll add a Japanese faction, I really want samurais  ;D

On the TW forums on the thread. Someone mentioning it would be out by "turkey day". Probably just idle speculation.
