Events: EU / Nr4 Thursday Linebattle [EU] - Disbanded

The Nr4 will gonna host an Thursday LB because there aren't many around right now. All the officers will be added to the Event's group and will receive details when the weekly event is about to happen. The Event will be every Tuesday at 7pm GMT and don't forget the rules before joining in!

Competitive EU Events/Tournaments / 5vs5 Cav-Tournament by Nr4

Welcome dear community, to our first event, being a 5v5 Cavalry tournament. The CNC was finished quite some time ago now.

That's why we thought that the Cav-community needs another competition to sort out who's still capable of being a frightening team of old but also many new players.
Everyone is welcome to apply and we hope that'll be a fair and enjoyable contest. The deadline for the applications is currently set for the 15th March '18 (may still be changed). We've also created a steamgroup for all team-captains to make communication easier!

Rules

Tournament Rules

• A mature and kind behaviour is an essential condition to run this tournament smoothly.
• There's no wallhugging, shooting, glitching, delaying, trolling or cheating in any way allowed.
• Players have to play as a Cavalry Ranker or Officer.
• You need to pick the class you want to play throughout the whole tourney before you sign-up. There are the two classes available to play: Hussar and Cuirassier.
• The format will be the "Round Robin Tournament". That means that all teams will play against each other. Depending on how many sign-ups we get there will be multiple groups. Now there are supposed to be two groups consisting of 10 teams. After the first group-stage weeks is played, the best 2 teams of each group which are by then created randomly will play a semi-final and a final under the rules of the single elimination system.
• Use the name you've applied with.
• The tournament admins will punish any sort of rule-breaking in the form of warnings, suspensions or bans. Obey to the referees and the admins words.

Roster Rules

• The roster must consist of at least 5 players and max. 8 players.
• Substitutions can be made only during the Group stage until the Single-elimination-stage has started. To add or remove a player make a post under this thread making clear which player should be added/removed to/from your team's roster.
   
• It's strictly forbidden to play for more than one team at the same time.

Match Rules

• Matches are played 5 vs 5.
• A groupstage-match is finished when one team wins 5 rounds in total. (FT5) The semi-/final is finished when one team wins 7 rounds in total (FT7).
• You're supposed to play on an official Server, except when there's no official server available you need to contact an admin or referee to find another server.
• Matches are organised by the team captains and need to be announced under this thread. It's mandatory to get a referee for your match. Furthermore, you're supposed to play two official matches a week.
• Spectators are generally allowed but if a team requests the specs to leave they have to do so.
• If one team can't bring 5 players the other team does not need to balance.
• Substitutions during the match are allowed.
• All matches must be played on a map we've created for this tournament.

Regimenter / ♞Schlesisches Husaren-Regiment „GrafVonZieten“ Nr.4 *Aufgelöst*

Wir sind das Husaren-Regiment Nr.4! Dieses wurde am 01.07.2017 gegründet, und ist auf das Dragoner-Regiment Nr.8 zurückzuführen, welches die Klasse der Dragoner bespielte. Wie man sicherlich weiß, sind wir ein bodenständiges Regiment, welches sich aus älteren, sowie jüngeren Spielern zusammensetzt. Diese Spieler versorgen das Regiment täglich mit Spaß und Spannung, was also heißt, dass wir keinesfalls ein inaktives Regiment darstellen. Zudem waren wir Teil des Deutschen Kriegsverbandes, wo wir zusammen mit dem "Schlesischen Husaren-Regiment Nr.6" Schlachten erkämpften, und uns den Ruf als Husaren verdienten. Um diesem Ruf der "treuen", "ehrvollen" Husaren gerecht zu werden, haben es sich die Offiziere und Unteroffiziere zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Husaren zu einer kampfstarken Truppe auszubilden, die jederzeit auf dem Schlachtfeld agieren kann. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, wird sehr viel Lernwille, Disziplin und Teamgeist gefragt. Wenn wir dieses Ziel erreicht haben, können wir jederzeit mit dem Pferd und Schwert die Husarenkraft entfesseln. Das Regiment steht unter der Leitung von Major Felix und Oberleutnant Octanidas, die jederzeit für Fragen bereitstehen. Ihr könnt sie unter "Kontakte" adden! Das Regiment entstand 1741 unter 'Graf Hodlitz' und wurde zu dieser Zeit auch nach ihm benannt. Genau ein Jahr nach deren Gründung nahm das Regiment am zweiten Schlesischen Krieg Teil. Der Krieg begann durch den Einmarsch von Österreich in Schlesien, woraufhin das Husaren-Regiment wahrscheinlich in der Schlacht bei Hohenfriedberg kämpfte, wo Preußen den Sieg für sich entscheiden konnte. Zudem war das Husaren-Regiment Nr.4 auch in kleinere Kriege verwickelt, wie den siebenjährigen Krieg, den bayerischen Erbfolgekrieg, und dem Krieg gegen die Französische Republik. Diese Kriege entstanden alle im Zeitraum von 1756-1793. Als 1807 Frankreich Preußen den Krieg erklärte, wurde das Regiment im Rahmen der dritten Husarenbrigade in den Krieg verabschiedet. Wie allerseits bekannt, hat Preußen den Krieg vernichtend verloren, woraufhin das Regiment zum 'Yorkschen Korps' wurde. Dieses Yorksche Korps nahm am Krieg gegen Russland Teil, auch genannt den 'Russlandfeldzug' durch Napoleon. Als die Reste des 'Yorkschen Korps' wieder in Preußen anerlangt waren, wurde es wieder zum Husaren-Regiment Nr.4, was daraufhin in die 'Napoleonischen Kriege' gezogen ist. Napoleon wurde vernichtend geschlagen und Preußen wurde wieder ein Freistaat. In der Zeit des Friedens übernahm der bekannte Kavallerie General 'Graf von Zieten' das Regiment, woraufhin es stark gewachsen ist. Kurze Zeit später um 1848 zog das Regiment in den Krieg gegen die Polnische Insurektion. Nach diesem Krieg wurde der Regimentskommandeur gewechselt und das jetzige Husaren-Regiment Nr.4 wurde aufgelöst. Nun war es der fünften Kavalleriebrigade unterstellt.
