You should go as soviet considering your snipness is so common like Stalin does with soviet photos and history  ;D ;D ;D

I would be interested to go FIG too since im in the area around the time as well. Starting college next year, will take a year off due to trapped in dorm. By 2nd year, i hope to get an apartment so i can have loads of confederate, union, heer stuff prepared.  ;)

They use airsoft in WWII and later in every other country in the world except Australia. Airsoft is illegal here and while we are trying to get it legalised, I fear it won't be for a while.

If you do plan to go over there, you will have to rent a WWII period airsoft rifle/pistol. Buying them can cost over 1k.

Just don't do any stupid shit with it. Even though its America, they still arrest anyone who carries it openly without a permit.

WW2 airsoft? this is Reenacting.... Aint no Airsoft in Reenacting, I've been told many time that Airsoft is a joke in ww2 reenacting.

Also, I can get a Thompson Airsoft just for 150. AEG indeed. Not to mention the same for Mp40 and little bit higher for MP44(StG44)

Zac, I already told you that you could fall out with my unit if you're going to FIG and you want to spend some time on the East Coast in the winter.

Also, I think the only place where there's any sort of decent Airshit tactical reenacting is Mid-West. Otherwise it's a fucking joke with farby uniforms and weapons that don't look anything near the real thing (M14s as Garands, etc.).

Do some looking around. There's plenty of decent Heer units.

Yeah i know there one but its all the way up in Minnesota. Good Grief No.

In ww2 reenacting note, 8 more days left until my first event. We are portraying 275th ID at Hurtgenwald. Sleeping in trenches and night guard watch will be done. I hope it snow!
