Assassins Creed: Syndicate

start meh bashing and undeserved hype

Don't get me wrong, I like AC but I'm not going to pre-order or buy on release or get excited like I did with Unity. This one looks interesting, though I think they should be going back in time, not forward.

The story also seems to be about classism though so gud Ubi

I think it's gonna be Like Rome 2 and Attila just some copying and here and there something much. Allthough we didn't see much about already I think it's just gonna be a rip off. Only that the rope is back and the throwing daggers makes it a bit better.

True ac1 2 and 3 i liked the most. Unity is pretty good also except for its frame drops and bugs. But besides that it's very fun to play

I was willing to wait a few months for Ubisoft to fix Unity. I figured the story must be worth it.

I finished the game today.

Very, very average

Lackluster revenge tale, characters unoriginal and no empathy felt towards them.

Also, the factions were just...confusing honestly. The fact that "Royal" troops and "Convention" troops looked exactly alike made no sense and didn't help me identify friend from foe. Also, I noticed the the bland "Patriot" faction also played the role of royalist or any other baddie Unity wanted to throw at you. All in the all, Unity failed to fully use the environment it was set in. Unlike other games where you are right in there, fully influencing history, events of the French Revolution seemed to be mentioned in passing. And the game goes only to 1793 (I'm pretty sure) and basically "ends" the Revolution with Robespierre. And they basically just sloppily jerk you around with Napoleon's presence. You essentially do one mission for him. I mean, cmon, 13 Vendermarie or the coup for gods sake!

In Syndicate, Jacob seems more Kenway and I like that. Frankly, the anti-heroes that Ubisoft makes are more enjoyable and more fun to watch than any all-good dragon slayer hero they come up with.

Yes true Kenway's story is indeed intresting. I also love the fact in unity that you could customize over such wide ideas. I hope they will bring it to Syndicate too. I also hope they bring unarmed combat back as you can disarm people and stuff, but I doubt it a bit.

Ubisoft is going to fuck this up. They will also destroy Jack The Ripper's story, I would bet on that.

Don't watch these videos if you want to have spoilers.

In my opinion, the graphics looks amazing and the whole game looks amazing. Can't wait for it to be released. There are some bugs here and there but they'll be patched. The uniforms look brilliant. Can't express my emotions   ;D

This is AC unity in London. Just a fancy reskin with 2-3 "new" features that could have been in Unity. Won't even waste my money on this.

AC2 is still one of the most engrossing games I've ever played. Black Flag was fun asf too...

I played Unity for 30 minutes, was bored out of my mind.
