The RaB staff has been working in a very interesting project that I’m sure you’ll enjoy 1 year after the  Red and Blue version 3release and New Patch .

This project consists in a persistent SCW campaign where we will get to rewrite history! There will be a detailed map representing the situation of the War since 18 July 1936 with an array of units representing some of it’s real-life counterparts. You will get to play as each of them, decide its movements, strategies and fight their battles to decide the fate of Spain.

This is a tiny thread to present the campaign. Every info and details can be found in Red and Blue Official Discord
To participate:

-Read Rules and Ruleset (posted in channel #info )

For the campaign out-game

• Join Red and Blue Official Discord
• Choose a side (#choose-your-side channel)
• In case there's a free Colonel slot you can apply for it

For the campaign events in-game

• Join Red and Blue Official Discord
• Apply for your regiment or, if it is the case, apply for the free players battalion. (#application channel)

DISCLAIMER: These events will not replace the normal events so don’t worry about that.

Buenas gente, los que no me conozcais, soy Yebenoso el desarrollador de Red and Blue . Volvemos a las andadas. Nos hemos propuesto empezar desde cero para sortear cualquier tipo de crash derivado de códigos viejos. Contamos con la ayuda de Eldar, el creador de Parabellum, con el cual lograremos los siguientes objetivos:

-Granadas, molotovs y granadas de humo.
-Tanques, carros blindados y caballería.
-Cañones antitanque.
-Más unidades.
-Metralletas y ametralladoras(posiblemente fijas).
-Nuevas voces.
-Nuevos mapas.

SKIN CONTEST!

Hi comrades Red and Blue team has decided to organise a skin contest.
The contestants will have to edit an existing unit of the mod or even edit an existing unit to turn it into a new one of the Spanish Civil War.
The tools you need to do this are : Openbrf and photoshop or any picture editor to design textures. You will be also allowed to use any 3d modelling program to add your own models.
The best 4 skins will be added to the next R&B version(v3) as a new unit or just as the edited troop.

Once you finish your project, upload it to googledrive(for instance) and send the link to Yebenoso by steam. You can also post a photo of it here.
The contest finishes the 01/03/17

Buenas camaradas, el equipo de Red and Blue ha decidido organizar un concurso de uniformes.
Los concursantes tendrán que editar una unidad existente del mod o incluso editar una tropa existente para convertirla en otra nueva de la guerra civil española.
Las herramientas necesarias para esto son: Openbrf y photoshop o cualquier editor de imagen para diseñar texturas.
 También podréis utilizar cualquier programa 3d para añadir vuestros propios modelos.
 Las 4 mejores unidades serán añadidas en la siguiente version de R&B (v3) como una nueva unidad o como la unidad editada.

Events / Roleplay Hour[RB Official Server]

Not everybody has the same hour to play Red and Blue, and not everybody likes the squad battles. Then if you want to play something funny without joining a squad you can have a roleplay. You can imagine all the situations you want but here are some of the roleplayes we have invented:





Africa War RP:

Spain as the rest european nations tried to forge its colonial "empire" in Afria. This RP is based on the war beetwen the Spanish Government and the moroccan rebels.

Description:The first nation(Nationalists) is the spanish army, they must select the second unit(Spanish Foreign Legion) they must march in column(walking)and following their officer through a desert forest while the second nation(Rebel Nationalists) are the moroccan rebels(first unit, native rank) and they stay "hidden" to ambush the legion's column.

Colonial goverment RP:

The morish citizens of the city are being oppresed by the colonial govern, the religious autorities have decided to revolt agaisnt the spanish government.

Description: The native citizens(second faction) are the morish inhabitants(First unit, native rank) and they stay walking by the city until 7:00, at that time they are allowed to use their weapons to kill the patrols. The spanish patrols(second faction) are the colonial guard of assault(the third unit of Republican side) and they must be walking by the city and they are allowed to shot anyone with a weapon in his hands.

Religious issues RP:

the conflict between catholics and muslims in the city has started.

Description: the First Faction are the catholics militias(3rd unit) and must protect their Priest(Last rank of 3rd unit) while the Second Faction are the muslims(1st unit,ranker, NOT NATIVE) and must protect their iman(the 4th rank of first unit), the one side that kills the enemy's religious authority wins.

Guernica RP:

the condor legion has decided to test their technology for the WWII and they have decided the town of Guernica to make that test.

Description: The First Faction(Republican side) is divided en two--> the inhabitants(5th unit) that must hid from the bombs until the Basque Police "Ertzantza"(6th unit and last rank) arrives to drive them to the refuge, if at least one arrives the Republicans win. In the other side(Nationalists) the artillery(everybody chooses artillery train) starts a massive bombing, the aim is to kill all the inhabitants before the arrive to the refuge if not they will lose.

International War RP:

the spanish civil war was the anteroom of the WWII so people from different nations joined the war.

Description: This is just a squad battle but the unit is limited to the foreign one of each side.

Religious ceremony:

Spoiler

the religious persecution was a reality during Spanish Civil War.

Description: The first side(nationalists) chooses priest(the third unit, 4th rank) and stay in the cathedral or church simulating a mass. Suddenly the CNT militia(the 5th of republican side) gets into the cathedral and arrest the priests and drive them outside. In this moment, each priest have to decide if run away or stay arrested. If the priest runs away he must hide in a safe place and find a rifle or a pistol and kill his persecutors to liberate his mates if not, he will be executed. If the priests arent liberated before the minute 4, CNT militia will be allowed to executed the priests that stayed arrested.

Anarchy!!

The anarchists have taken the city of Barcelona.

Description: The CNT (first faction,5th unit) has to resist the charge of the loyal troops(1st and 3rd unit of the second unit), it is just a normal fight.

The army has decided to make a hit of state.

Description: The first team formed by the Falangists (5th unit) or nationalist police (last unit) or the franquist army (4th unit) must have the city under their control by patrols and controls and neutralize any opposition to them(if they see someone with a rifle in his hand or his shoulder they must kill him)
2nd team formed militia (5 unit) must throw the weapons at the time of respawn then look for weapons and ammunition distributed by the map and at 7:00 they will be allowed to kill the police patrols.
Watch out police, shoot all inhabitants who have guns before minute 7:00.

Red and Blue : 1936 The Spanish Civil War Multiplayer Mod Released

Hello everyone, I'm David Pastrana, also know as Yebenoso, coordinator of the developing team of Red and Blue: 1936
today I'm very proud to announce the version 2 of the mod, together with Fede Caprari, Victor and Nico and others. We put a lot of effort to bring you a bug-free version of the mod.


A few weeks ago a beta version was released, it was full of bugs, slow loading textures etc
this has been fixed (loads up faster than warband now), and a ton of new features added, we will list some here, you will find out the others by yourselves.



Spanish Civil War

Lets remount to the 14th of April of 1931.
Spanish monarchy was declared overthrown and a provisional government took power, implementing reforms at many areas such as religion, education, politics and economy. In the ensuing years, the government became increasingly divided between the socialists of the left wing and the right wing. This political instability opened a door for anarchists and communists, while fascists looked askance at the situation.

 In the elections of February in 1936 the left wing won a clear majority and promised the distribution of some lands that belonged to the squirearchy. Furthermore the government started an army reform in order to reduce it. Moreover, the religion reform started at the first years of the Republic removed the influence of religion in the country.

The right wing reacted with fervor. Many generals of the army disagreed with the socialists reforms, and viewed with distaste the violence and anarchy which reigned in the streets of Spain while the Republican Government was unable to reduce it.

With all this situation, the 18th of July of 1936, some army generals led by Francisco Franco decided to overthrow the government…



Now is time you choose a side, Will you join the Republicans and fight for the Revolution, the Freedom, Anarchism or Communism or Will you join the Nationalists and defend the Motherland, the Religion and the Order?

Hello guys, I have released Red and Blue this afternoon,but when we tried to join the server,people got kicked and when I joined as admin, It didnt kick me ,but I appeared without equipment. I can imagine that the problem is the autofire code that Screaming Communist put in the mod but I´m not a profesional coder so I cant fix it,that´s why I ask for help. Please add me on steam : yebenoso and Ill give you the source code.
