77y Sunday Linebattle

[Aztir]

When? - Every Sunday, 7pm UK Time (Winter = GMT, Summer = BST) - Starting 4th Nov
Who? - All regiments are welcome providing they send a representative to attend the pre-battle meeting.
Where? - 77y_Sunday_Linebattle (200 Slots)
Maps - Random maps of various terrain will be used (Each regiment CO will be allowed to vote on wheter or not to keep the current map)





No Firing out of a formation,

No Firing whilst charging,

No firing whilst engaged in melee Except Skirmisher units (goes for any number of people fighting)

Artillery are allowed 1 Sapper per cannon,

No aiming for officer's EXCEPT from skirmisher units,

No Rocket Troops,

If there are 3 or less people left of your unit, you MUST join up with a friendly unit (same goes for Cavalry)

Only Cannons may be used by Artillery units

Bonuses - DISABLED (Until they resolve lag issues)

Unit Sizes

Line - 10-20, Light - 15, Skirmishers - 15, Cavalry - 15, Artillery - 2 Guns - 7 Operators + 5 Guards (12)




All regiments wishing to attend should send a representative to the 77y Teamspeak at 6:30 UK time (Winter = GMT, Summer = BST)

1. Number of men they are bringing
2. Desired Unit types

Haven't the lags caused by buffs been fixed already? I believe that was fixed a while ago.

We enjoyed the linebattle but you guys really need to sort out a second server for the event which is actually capable of handling more than 20 people without lagging!

Well after the chaos that occurred on both servers last night I shall not be sorting out a double server event again unless another regiment wants to make it a regular thing where by they provide both their own server and admin team for Server 2.

Until a regiment offers to do such it will be a single server event with a dedicated Spectator admin to support the in game admins. It operates on First come, First serve so if you miss out on the slots then you will be turned away.

This is the unfortunate result of 2 regiments being black listed and multiple impersonators on both sides being banned after trying to cause team-kill arguments.

Well i think by the sounds of it we had it easier on the laggy server! I hope you do find a regiment to offer you a good second server and admin it, as otherwise you will probably be turning away a lot of regiments each week...

Time for 3 servers then! The 15th enjoyed the rather substantial challenge of facing the 77y as usual and we are a tenacious bunch so we will be back to try our hand again next week as normal!
