S Carolinas going bowling, miracles really do happen. Oh and if it wasnt already clear I fucking despise Clemson.

Georgia should have this year in the bag however boy will it be funny if they blow it.

Potentially a few newcomers to the CFP so that will be good to see.

Havent kept up with the thread that much this season. Ill just say that although USC is doing what we do, you know...sucking. It is an absolute dream seeing Clemson shit the bed so bad this year. I wont say it wholly makes up for S Carolina sucking but its close. Itll be a miracle for them to win the ACC at this point and even if they do theyre not going to the playoff. Love it.

Georgia is looking like the best team this year. Their defense is amazing and their offense is capable of having bad games, but for the most part has performed this season.

And obviously im rooting for Cincy to win the natty. However much of a long shot it is.

Sad the seasons already almost over.

Made the trip to the away game in Greenville NC to watch the cocks barely squeak out a win against ECU. I dont know which QB is starting next week against Georgia but whoever it is God help him.

Arkansas might be kinda nice. Someone needs to go drag Risk back from the dead to let him get his two cents in.

New season so you know what that means. Time to crawl out of my hole of NW obscurity to post weekly updates and after the seasons over go back to ignoring fse for another 8 months.

Dont have high hopes for Scarolina this season but just looking for something invigorating to go off of for Shane Beamer's first season. Im ready to be hurt again

Yall looking forward to anything?

Who do yall think is gonna win tonight? I can't believe it but Im actually gonna be rooting for Ohio State I think. I just think its better for the sport if we dont have the same two teams rotating nattys every year. I think if Ohio St plays like they did against Clemson they could make it a close game. That being said I think Alabama has more tools to win so I'd bet on them gettin the dub.

Lets go LSU!!

LSU was looking like they were starting to implode before our eyes what with opt outs and off-field stuff but that was a huge win which should revitalize the program for at least a bit. That shoe throw was elite.

And speaking of imploding before our eyes...

Poor South Carolina. At least you got Deion Sanders son!

Lol idk if you're being sarcastic or not but he literally today announced he was transferring out of the program. He wasn't that great anyways. Also USC's current 2021 recruiting class is ranked 93rd. Being edged out by veritable powerhouses such as Nevada, Temple, and Rice. Shane Beamer better be literally Jesus Christ

I know very little about college football to be honest, i just have a close friend who is a huge Indiana fan. And it’s an exciting time to be an Indiana fan!
Yea you dont have to know a ton about it to like it. When I was in school I'd meet a lot of foreign kids studying abroad and they couldnt even tell you what a first down was but theyd become huge fans and go to every game because its just fun.

And Indiana might be a real team. They might have some trouble this week against Ohio St tho.  :-X

I'm already about at my rope's end with Will Muschamp. If we go and get blown out tomorrow, which is entirely possible at this point, I will be completely, officially, 100% done. I've given him the benefit of the doubt these past few years and tried to be more patient than a lot of the fan base but if we put up another listless performance tomorrow that will be it. I'm gonna want him dragged out of the football ops building by his heels kicking and screaming, jamming a one way plane ticket in his pocket, and strapping him on to the first plane out of Columbia, bound for Tuscaloosa or wherever he decides to end up after this. It's just inevitable at this point, unless he has some miraculous turnaround at the end of the year but I'd almost be ready to bet my life on that not happening.

He just got fired last night

In all seriousness we had our ups and downs with him, but it was starting to be increasingly obvious that he was not the answer for any long term success. Hope he does well wherever he ends up next.

I think Trump really shot himself in the foot, and not even anything recently, but just how he's behaved for the past four years in office. If he had been able to speak with any semblance of eloquence or tried to relate to people who weren't 100% in his camp he would have been targeted a lot less by the media and would have a considerably better image. And being the twitter president and making snide remarks all the time, while entertaining, was not a good long term strategy. If he had acted with a bit more grace I think he wins another term but the way things are now its not looking great for him.

And the Republican party is going to be fine. One thing that was definitely a factor in this election was the current state of things in the country right now. Regardless whether you think covid or the protests were the fault of Trump, when the country is in a bad shape it reflects on the president and people want change. This has been the case for a long time and it will be the reason why the Democrats aren't going to "take over" the country for years to come just because Trump's base is "dying out". Unless you have confidence that the Democratic party can lead the country perfectly from now until the end of time there will be another Republican. Likely one that utilizes a similar approach that Trump did in 2016. Whether or not all republican candidates will be considered "populists" from here on out we'll have to wait to see.
