While i'm not an expert on the RHA, I can inform you now that they did not fight in the war of 1812, the didn't actually exist as a regiment until several tens of years later

Nope, an independent horse artillery Battery was there. Also the incarnation of the RHA was not technically a regiment, more of a unit to simply group all the horse artillery together, and act as a similar to the British Army's Artillery regiments now.
TL;DR?
The RHA was not a field unit, instead independent Batteries are deployed where necessary, i suggest  picking one of these Batteries
