For those who have chosen US Infantry regiments that are not on the unit list of the mod I am providing a chart of the uniform situation in the US Army as it would have been in early 1813. The chart can be used as a reference for any US Infantry unit you would like to re-skin in order to get into the game. The low numbered, old regiments would have been wearing either the cord-trimmed, 1810 uniform shown worn by regts 1 to 5 & 7 in the image below, or the new fully tape-trimed 1812 pattern being worn by the 11th regiment. The non-blue (black, grey, brown, drab) stop-gap uniforms would have still been worn by some regiments at this time as well as the new simplified uniform of blue with red facings and white tape trim on the collar only. Notice that some units are still wearing the old cylindrical felt shako while others have been issued the new leather, false-fronted "tombstone" shako. Only the new, high numbered regiments would have received the final, all all-blue uniform with white collar trim. By mid 1814 this was the only uniform being issued to infantry units.
For summer fatigue duties, round-about jackets of dark grey wool were issued to troops stationed in the north while southern based units were given white cotton jackets of the same pattern.
