History
Lützow Free Corps was a force of irregular/guerrilla troops composed of volunteers from all the German-Speaking lands (Including Austria). The Freikorps are known for their pitch black uniforms (which were the easiest color to dye), their loyalty to Germany as a whole, and their affinity for intense labor. Despite having the highest percentage of deserters in the Prussian Army and their limited military success, they are revered for being annoying to the French as well as uniting different German speaking peoples into one unit. Anybody could join and fight united alongside fellow Germans; volunteers ranged from students and academics to craftsmen and even a few women.
Regimental Code
This regiment is a regiment of volunteers. Everyone is equal in our eyes and we respect the rights of everyone enlisted in our ranks. The 1st Lutzow's Freikorps is also an old regiment, one that has been levied and disbanded over years by many different people with many different experiences. It is our duty to bring honor and glory to this regiment, and glorify the previous Freikorps that came before us. Many veterans in the NW community have served in a previous Freikorps, and we make it our utmost priority to make everyone proud. With this in mind, our members swear to uphold regimental standards of Honor, Maturity, Loyalty, and dedication to improving one's self and the regiment they proudly serve.
- Tolerance - The 1. Lutzow's Freikorps Infanterie Battalion is a tolerant regiment and will not allow discrimination in its ranks based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, creed, political affiliation, etc. Banter is allowed, bigotry is forbidden.
- Maturity - Maturity, professionalism, discipline and sportsmanship are important maxims in this regiment. No trolling in events or with tags, raging at fellow players, or trash talking. We strive to maintain Prussian Discipline in our ranks.
- Loyalty - This Regiment does not tolerate disloyalty. Ditching events, disobeying officers, and sowing dissent are all not acceptable in this regiment. Missing events because of life or unforeseen events is perfectly fine.
