M. Tournaments @ 7v7 @ [All-S - 1st, Poosy - 2nd, ChimpZ - 3rd]

Hello Everyone, I am pleased to inform all of you that I will be hosting the groupfighting tournament on the 17th of September 7:30pm GMT. This is a 7v7 tournament containing 12 teams. The tournament format will be instant elimination with a Bronze match. The sign up format is below, and good luck and thank you for everybody that is reading this and going to enter.

§ 1 All players must be respectful and act in a mature manner during the tournament. Cussing and trashtalking will not be tolerated. There will be 1 warning then a ban.
§ 2 Only rankers are allowed, and only line infantry are allowed (footguard's do not fall under the category of line infantry).
§ 3 Melee speed is medium.
§ 4 If you will have less than 7 players on the server (in tournament day) you will be automatically disqualified.
§ 5 Round 1 and Round 2 will be ft5, Semifinals ft7 and Grand-final ft10.
§ 6 There will only be 12 teams.
§ 7 You can only have 10 players per team, with 3 substitutes.

5v5 gf league dunno if a 7v7,8v8 league will work.

People should understand League isn't a format which has been proved to work on NW, most of the important leagues have never been finished (except 1v1 LBs) and those which were completed lead to dozen / hundred of default matchs to be given so it could be over (FG Duel League for exemple).

Last GFL was nothing but another exemple of that and even though it is largely due to the atrocious match format picked up by Haze, it also probably is affected by the current state of the community where teams are not ready to attend tournaments during two months at the minimum.

Just host a 8v8 / 7v7 tournament, people like them, it is usually good shit and you will have the chance to see some players attending, whereas they couldn't be bothered for a League.

The main reason why I am doing this is because of the old competitive scene when there was more than 10 teams with unique lineup. A League is the only thing which can make people only play for one team and to play training matches for 1 specific team, as in your everyday 5v5 or 7v7  tournaments people are always trying something new. Every team in those types of tournaments are a mix of players who don't care about the results until the very first match. In conclusion, leagues are more competitive. Imo

League is indeed more competitive, but its about making the teams stay in it, which past tournaments have proven quite unsuccessful. Maybe yours will be better, you can't quite know without trying anyways

As for your project of gf league, why not but we've seen a lot of 5v5 recently, maybe a bigger sized league?
