they didnt want to, maybe, but they did... history doesnt tell what someone wanted to happen, its what actually happened.

First punch was done by Russia against Germany. Ok, not really a hard punch, but they attacked first some parts of East Prussia before Germany attacked Luxemburg and Belgium the next day.

It should of been just an embargo if anything a Austrian-Serbian War. But thats far fetched. Germany wouldn't of said anything if Russia didn't mobilize. Then France and England wouldn't of said they're coming to the rescue.
